As winter begins its slide toward the sunny days of spring, we bring you Glissade Golden Bock to help you enjoy the ride. Glissade is a remarkably mellow take on the traditional spring bock. With restrained sweetness, we emphasize subtle malt flavor, balanced against delicate aromas of spicy and floral European hops. This complex balance helps Glissade slide across the palate—bracing us against the last cold nights of winter, while its bright golden color turns our thoughts toward spring.

Not sure about this beer. Golden colour, minimal lacing. Malted rounds, pilsner like hops and some sort of honey and minor cloying agent.

A - Dark golden with a 1/2" thick head that vanished very quickly. No lacing at all. It looked like I was drinking apple juice. S - Intense sweet honey malt. Some caramel, bread, pear , and fig aromas come through as it warms. T - Honey, malt, heavy caramel, sweet grain, with a touch of bitterness to round it off. Not as much hop as I expected. Would have like a little more to bring it home. Smooth medium body. A little unbalanced but a very enjoyable brew. Serving type: bottle

Bright clear gold beer, little white head. Light soft palate, a little dry. Even malt, dry and soft. A hint of peach and honey. A bit too much malt dominant but decent. Mild hop bitter aftertaste.

From tap @ Ølfestival København 2012. This one pours a clear golden body with a small sidesticking just off-white head. Light malty, kinda metallic on the aroma with some faint citrus and grape. The taste is kinda crisp with lots of grapy citrus. It’s soft to average carbonated and has a thin oily texture. Quite refreshing flavors. Light hoppy and sweet-fruity with some alcohol in the warming finish. A bit straight forward, but as a quencher, quite good! 10.05.2012

Draught. Mild caramelly aroma. Clear golden colour. White head. The flavour is very caramelly. Has a good semi-clean bitterness to balance.

Tasting from October 2011.
Chilled and into a straightwall. A very sunny amber gold it produces, bright as bright, and highly effervescent. Snow-white, loose head of foam crowns it; sudsy and fading. Buttery, doughy nose, slightly candyish like Starburst™ fruit lollies. Some pale caramel and biscuity malt comes through as does a little ethanol spice. Quite sweet on the tip of the tongue, a good malt profile, some grit an husk showing. Candyish fruit of the aroma is lost on the palate, a positive I suppose. Firm body, not too big or cloying, light in carbonation. Very clean throughout; a rough dusty malt swallow dries it out. Finish is short, earthy, sandy, and well spiced. Low to no hop bitterness. Easy to drink as a Helles Bock should be but lacking in depth. Another along the lines of a strong Euro lager. Criticisms aside it is remarkably quaffable.
