Commercial Description:
Our Harvest Ale was the first American beer ever brewed with 100% fresh picked, "wet hops." In just one day, we harvest hops in Yakima, WA, ship them that night to our brewery in Chico, CA, and then rush them into the brew kettle as they are unloaded at dawn the next day.

This extraordinary effort creates a beer with unmatched aromatics of pine and citrus with layers of spicey sweet notes that hop fanatic like us dream of all year. Enjoy!

Tap @ The Dome. Deep bright amber with a nice rocky white head. Strong piney, citrusy, fruity hoppyness, definitely fresh and wet. The malt backbone perfectly sustains that lingering bitter note that goes straight toward the end.

Brilliant copper depth, nice lasting creamy head. Good pine, slightly citrus hop with a hint of sweetness. Very nicely balanced. Not sure my nose is working... I think it should have more aroma. Great lingering finish.

This one has a hazy dark brown color. Aroma is hops and some slight citrus. Taste is nice and crisp. Flavors include fresh hops, citrus, spices, and a little pine. Has a hop aftertaste. Nice and refreshing.

Gorgeous. 13th Edition. Pours clear dark orange with a huge beige head that lingers and lingers. Aroma of crisp wet hops and delightful bitterness. It even tastes like the hops were wet. Dank, but in a really good way. Like they were just piled in there. Long finish, great silky mouthfeel. Once again, they create a fantastic beer.

24 OZ 2007 11th Edition bottle. Deep amber pour with a thin head cuz I poured it that way. Fresh hoppy nose and flavor. Crisp fruity bright start with a big bitter finish. You will live it!

Pours reddish brown with a lingering head from the 24oz. bottle into a red, plastic solo cup (final Giant’s game at Giant’s Stadium and it’s a tailgate party): Resined aroma. Flavors of sweet malts lead up to a crescendo of big hop bite. Dry, bitter finish. Full, creamy mouthfeel. Drinkability: Reallly good. Interesting. Rebuy: Yes. Needs a re-rate. #266 on 04022010, DG.

Pours clear dark orange with a massive frothy beige head that builds over the glass well. Aroma of crisp sweet hops and mild resin. Taste has a lot of tropical citrus hops with a good balance of bitter dan hops. Decently long bitter finish, overall the taste is very bold and slightly grainy but not light. Medium body with rich carbonation.
