Each fall, hops reach their peak flavor- bursting with aromatic oils that give ales layers of complex flavor and aroma that can only happen at harvest time. For us, fall comes twice a year- once in each hemisphere. This Harvest Ale features "wet" or un-dried whole-cone hops from Yakima, WA that are plucked from the bine and delivered to our brewery within 24 hours of picking.

The aroma is of floral hops and a faint caramel malt. The taste is very well balanced with sourness and bitterness. Well made beer.

Rating from 4/6/2010.....Amber body with a beige head...in your face aroma of fresh hops & malt ...the hops smell almost 100% fresh out of the sealed bag (homebrew kit)....creamy palate filled with hops---but not heavy and bitter, more of a delicate balance of hop and malt....the only bitter hops I get are in the finish....mild and mellow, and well made----even the grapefruit and orange flavors are delicate, yet in your face

Borostyán színű ale, íze, illata tele borókával, friss fenyőhajtással, kis élesztővel, fás fanyarsággal, gyümölcsösséggel, száraz utóízzel. Finom!

Pours clear brownish amber with decent off-white head and lingering carbonation. Aroma is light fruit, not overpowering. Taste is very hop forward but not too bitter or astringent. Very nice!

Golden-copper with solid white head. Clean floral, earthy hop character with a moderate body and the hop flavors linger. Nice floral hop bouquet.

Type: 24-oz. bottle Glass: Stone Ruination IPA pint glass From: Barons Market in Alpine, Calif. Price: $5.29 Purchased: Dec. 9, 2014 Consumed: Dec. 12, 2014 Misc.: Packaged on Sept. 24, 2014 at 5:49 a.m. Poured a dark orange, caramel, clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki-white, rocky head. Lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom. Good layered spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass. Great retention on the top all the way down. A good looking beer. (Sight - 4.38) Smelled wet pine, Citra hops, caramel, light grapefruit, faint wet Cascade hops, earthy rye and soapy lime. Reminded me a bit of the Oregon woods. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted a tad better than the nose. Got Citra hops, some Cascade hops, wet pine forest, soapy malts, lime zest, caramel, some grapefruit, mango, floral hops, earthy rye hops and lemon iced tea. (Taste - 3.88) Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Bitter, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.13) This was a pretty good IPA for sure. It got better as it went down. I’d have it again. (Overall - 4.00) 3.93 88 B+

very satisfying IPA. This one pours a slight amber with a few fingers of thick head. Plenty of piney hops in this one. I loved it an would recommend it to any IPA drinker.

pours amber with a tan head. Strange that malt is the first thing I pick up in the aroma of an IPA. Aroma of tropical fruits with slight resin. Taste slightly sweet, but once again not so much hops coming through. Your hops come through mostly in the finish. Taste pretty damn good but I don’t understand the over the top ratings.

Pours golden with a little copper. Amber. Slightly spicy and earthy. Some pine. Medium malt, toast. Very bitter finish.
