| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Pours a delightfully clear, pale amber. Medium body and nice balance of hoppy spice and malty sweetness. Adding fresh hops to this beer is certainly worth the effort. Will look forward to drinking this again next autumn! eyeamthewind (2), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Amazing beer. Very unique thirst quenching hoppiness and a balanced medium body make this exceptional. An array of natural undertones hide just below the delicious wet hop flavor. Really good. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA

Pours a nice, dark copper color with a good sized, foamy, beige head that is clingy and slowly fades. Has a nice carbonation to it. Has a very pleasant taste of hops, pine, caramel, malt and spice, with a nice dry finish. Has a nice bitterness and mouthfeel to it. The aroma is much the same, but is equally nice. Well balanced, easy to drink and a very satisfying. Well worth purchasing again. BeerGestapo (738), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2008 I don’t usually comment too much about the appearance of a beer. But this poured a beautiful and deep red hue, with a mighty and thick froth for a head. Impressive cosmetics. Spicy and hoppy notes predominate, but not bitter. Rich and malty, but not sweet. Another good big bottle brew from SN. Their Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale is simply superb. bradlyc77 (226), Sebastopol, California, USA
