Oct 22, 2008 This ale pours a nice copper honey color. Aroma is nice clean, bright citrus piney hop flavor. Flavor is very rich. Bright hops, and a nice dry finish. Very nice ale and one of my favorite Sierras!

does not count  Oct 21, 2008 12th Release Bottle. This beer pours a amber with a beautiful white head. The aroma is heavily floral pine. The flavor is extremely floral, yet very nice and quite different from other hop showcased beers. The beer’s body is pretty thin/smooth, which makes it go down nice and easy. They really captured the freshness of the hops in this one. Good Good.

Oct 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange amber with a lasting off white head. Sweet caramel aroma with pine and citrus fruits. The flavor is well balanced with piny, floral, and grassy hops, as well as sweeter caramel malt. Very good.

Oct 21, 2008 Clear amber color pour with a thick, long lasting tan head. Big spicy, grassy hop aroma, with a touch of honey. Flavor is big and hoppy as well, with some sweet malt trying to balance things out. A touch of citrus peel and alcohol on the finish. Smooth on the palate. Very nice!

Oct 19, 2008 Pours a clear copper with a moderate off white head. Huge hops and a little spice. Huge hops, not surprisingly, flavor but extremely smooth. Nice dry finish. Excellent beer.

Oct 19, 2008 Pours a beautiful copper amber with a tall, thick beige head. Delicious aroma of honey and piney hops. Amazing crisp malt flavor up front, usually lacking in IPAs. The flavor is a pronounced honey with a slightly roasty sweet spruce. The finish is a great piney hop flavor with a few spicey notes and very low bitterness. Very unique flavor and very enjoyable.

Oct 19, 2008 Pours an orange amber with an off-white head. Ridiculous hop aroma, mainly grass and pine, not too much fruit. Flavor is more of the hops but with a lot of spice as well. Not bitter at all. I wish the obnoxious spice notes were a little better balanced. Still a solid beer though.

Oct 19, 2008 24oz. pours copper with decent off white head. aroma is citrus and some fresh green. mouthful has a earthy grass hop that fades to citrus then a bitterness. much more robust than the southern hemi.
