Full mouthfeel with tastes of lemon and pine. Nice! Syd (892), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 16, 2008 12th Release Harvest Wet Hop Ale 24 oz bottle pours a crystal clear deep amber with a monster head and lots of sticky cobweb and structural lace. The aroma is of fresh hops, canned peaches, and caramel. The flavor is very fruity, sweet, grapefruit, pine, well rounded, and harmonious. The palate suits me, but could stand a touch more richness for the depth of flavor. As it stands, it is a bit thin. Overall, this is good. ajm (917), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Bottle from Jubilation. Will totally have this again. Very clean and sweet nose - doesn’t pop out of the bottle or glass, so not outstanding, just very nice. The very definition of smooth and clean-drinking. Great piney hops, orange zest and love. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 13, 2008 What a beautiful looking beer. Deep, hazy amber hue, with a creamy head that wilted away almost immediately. The thinnest of lace is all that remains one minute after pouring. Nose is light, fresh, clean. Rich sharp flavor was not given away by the aroma. Grass, but in a really good way. Lightly bitter with hoppiness. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm. LilBeerDoctor (1492), East Setauket, New York, USA

Pours dark orange with a thick, foamy white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet caramel malt. Flavor of rich, sweet caramel malt and light bitter hops. A touch of sweet tropical fruits. I can’t really explain it, but the balance of sweet malt and hops is just right in this beer. It’s not as hoppy as other IPAs but I just love the malt in this beer! It is one of my favorite beers and one of the only beers I could have at any time and one of the only beers I consistantly want to buy!! Awesome, awesome beer.

Having recently rated what was apparently a very damaged bottle of this brew, I shall try to make amends. Aroma of rich caramel malt with soft fruit hop notes (citrus and mango). Flavor again malt forward with luscious juicy hops dancing about on the canvas. While not a west coast hop bomb, an extremely tasty, juicy, delightfully refreshing IPA. kidmartinek (975), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Pale yellow arange color. Good lasting frothy head. Nice bubbling. Great aroma of hops, citrus, and pine, and mild malt. Flavor is piny, doughy and malty with an equal balance of hops. The beer is good, but more balanced and malty than expected. The nutty undertones don’t help any. It’s full bodied, and has a sharp finish. stefanje (938), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2008 500 ml fresh bottle from Bev4less. Pours a rich copper color with a big white head and incredible lacing. The aroma is hoppy with pine and some citrus. The flavor is biter hops forward with biscuit, caramel, walnuts and a good semi-sweet malty backbone. The mouthfeel is full and smooth. The finish is long and biter-sweet. Overall: This is a really good IPA when its fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
