Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 27, 2008 ’08: I bought 6 of these, thinking I was going to hang on to them and 3 of them are already gone. This is a delicious, drinkable beer that is perfect for summer. Pours a glowing orange. Aroma is fresh citrus rind, some caramel undertones. Flavor is very crisp and refreshing, grapefruit rind, a pine needle or two, creamy toasted malt. Great brew. highibus (421), Mill Creek, Washington, USA May 24, 2008 A nice deep copper color with lovely lacing. Q nice hop aroma and slightlysweet malt flavor. A nice finish as well. glaze0101 (79), USA May 24, 2008 drinkable, light amber with a light thin head and some lacing. This beer was nice but not stellar and not a standout by any means. unrulythings (73), Portland, Oregon, USA May 22, 2008 pours a rich amber color with a huge off white head. aroma is sweet with notes of hops and caramel. flavor is bitter and filled with notes of hops and tart citrus. really creamy IPA and a solid brew. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 21, 2008 A nice IPA though a little flavorful than I expected. Aroma was nice. Strong grassy hops. Pour was a nice medium brown with a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was all grassy hops with a hint of dishwasher soap and a light caramel malt backbone. Very little carbonation brought the score down. Nice beer, but I would take their APA over this. mybestfriend (261), Gothenburg, Sweden May 21, 2008 2007 bottle. Pours an amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is very hoppy - tropical fruits and hops, hops and hops with some soapy notes. Flavour is big with loads of hops - tropical fruits, resin and pine needles - with a good amount of bitterness. Yummy! thebeertourist (2751), Oslo, Norway May 16, 2008 2007 bottle. Copper to deep amber with a big rocky head. Wonderful citrus aroma, not sharp, but more mellow. Caramel as well. Good citrussy hop bitterness, balancing caramel flavours, still very bitter. Passion fruit flavours add to complexity. A great, harmonious beer that shows great subtlety- the fresh hops really make a difference. nimbleprop (819), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA May 12, 2008 Had this a while back on tap at the Brickskeller in Washington DC. Copper amber color with a lacing white head. Aroma is gushing with hops, plenty of citrus (oranges and limes) and a mellow pine aroma. Flavor is excellent, loads of citrus but also a tropical fruit flavor and a real earthy tartness to it. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in this brew. Great on tap, I hope it’s as good in a bottle.
