alexen84 (29), Australia Jan 20, 2008 On tap at Brickskeller DC, One of the best I had on my recent USA trip. Beautiful fresh hops, dancing around on my tongue. Well balanced with the acl and malt. boisebrewer (8), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA does not count Jan 19, 2008 Aroma was my favorite part, citrusy but not like normal IPA. Seemed a bit more earthy and complex, more like tangerines than grapefruit. Very clear, copper color, with a head that lasts forever. The alcohal and bitterness clung to the sides of my mouth. Very bitter with a slight malt flavor, mostly hops. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Jan 15, 2008 Darko orange color with large off-white head and some lacing. Nice sweet grapefruit aroma and very citric, bitter flavor. Good overall. agillespie81 (190), Denver, Colorado, USA Jan 13, 2008 Dark copper in color. Thick head. Light, fruity aroma. A balanced fresh hop front, with a slight malt back. Crisp, lingering mouthfeel with a light hop aftertaste. Sir+Drinksalot (30), Iowa, USA Jan 12, 2008 Very nice. Sweet and bitter piney hops. Grapefruit, apricot(?). Perfect and solid finish. Lots of flavor even in aftertaste. This is a great beer. I think this is my favorite Sierra Nevada brew yet! Very fresh. bdigital (585), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Jan 9, 2008 ’07 Bottle: Pours a perfect gold color with a medium-sized cream head. This had a very prominent wheat aroma that was almost overpowering and very unexpected. Some light malt, citrus and floral hops and some subtle sweet notes were present as well but overshadowed. Medium-full bodied mouth feel and well carbonated. Again, the wheat aspects almost suffocated the floral and resin hops flavors and although it wasn’t bad I was quite disappointed with this. Decent, not great. mcbackus (725), Merritt Island, Florida, USA Jan 8, 2008 bottle: pours with a very large off white head with great retention and lacing. this sits atop a clean caramel body. aroma is very nice with a great not overpowering citrus and pine hops. i also get some malt underlying. flavour is a strong burst of bitter pine and citrus hops, but sweet caramel malt mingles along. finish with a softer more earthy hop bitter. very good beer. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 7, 2008 Aroma of piney hops. Pours a bright copper color. Tastes of pine and citrus hops with a nice malt backbone. Palate is a bit thin.
