Oct 24, 2006 Wow. Just...wow. Feels like an IPA at times, finishes incredibly...easily the best Sierra Nevada offering I’ve ever had.

Jan 2, 2009 Sierra Nevada 12th Release Harvest Wet Hop Ale is clear, sparkling and copper. The head is huge and fluffy; rocky and bubbly. It has excellent retention and leaves thick lacing on the glass. Incredibly fresh hop aroma. Smells like hops still on the vine. Spicy, sweet, juicy, piny-- yum! It is medium bodied, a little oily and quite smooth. The finish is pretty crisp. It is a well balanced flavor. The hops are full and juicy and backed up nicely by a big malt body. It is a little peppery. It’s mostly a big grapefruit peel and pine flavor. It tastes very fresh. Well crafted! I’m glad I can get two glasses out of this bottle!

Jan 12, 2008 Very nice. Sweet and bitter piney hops. Grapefruit, apricot(?). Perfect and solid finish. Lots of flavor even in aftertaste. This is a great beer. I think this is my favorite Sierra Nevada brew yet! Very fresh.

Jul 27, 2007 Tried this at the Brewery in Chico. It is hopped with 24 hour old hops. And they do come threw. It has more crytal then there PA with some grapefruit and pine. Nice mouth feel for a regional brewery. Wish they would bottle and distribute this one.

Oct 29, 2007 Pours with a huge frothy head. A great orange/amber hue, very nice color and appearence. The aroma of hops is almost unbelievable, a hophead’s dream. An amazing smooth bitterness that compliments the malt flavor for a perfect balance. Tastes better on tap than in the bottle, but either way its a great beer.

Jun 18, 2009 just got the 16 oz sierra tulip glasses so i stopped at the lq on the way home from work and found the last 2008 Harvest in the store..pine aroma and taste with malts that were definitely present more than usual in ipa’s that i’ve tasted but could be the hop’s wearing off a little bit since it was brewed in late aug.08....overall still an excellent ipa, looking forward to this years...

Jul 6, 2009 On tap at the Ginger Man, beer came to the table bright & champagne-bubbly-frothy. Resin-pine-forward, citrus notes in the back on the nose, very fresh. A well-built beer- tasting malt in the middle (with hops to start & end)- enough malt so that the wet hops don’t run away with the show. Nicely bitter, makes your mouth water for the next sip, pleasantly carbonated, clings to your mouth in the best way. Actually was dangerously drinkable (higher ABV)- but no more than 2 in a sitting due to taste-bud overload from the hops.

Oct 27, 2009 Had the 2009 release on tap at Rattle n Hum. Wow an amazing IPA. Had 2 full pints. Very good IPA: balanced, yet with a great hop bite. I could drink this all night.
