Awesome, probably the best beer I have ever had from this brewer. I hope this brew or something like it makes the regular production schedule

24 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear amber color with a one and a half finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is pine and resin hops. Flavor is much of the same with the addition of some lightly sweetened malt. Slight astringent finish. Medium body. A very good beer.

That winning aroma of really fresh dry hopped pine hops, tantalizing and alluring, taste is tongue curling bitter hopping, those Magnums have never been displayed like this, you truly notice the hop bitterness over the flavor, fireworks spectacular, caramel malting just to keep it from being insane, the best beer I have ever had from Sierra Nevada

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 oz. bottle from Fireworks. The nose is minty with a bit of pine. The light resinous taste keeps the alcohol surprisingly well hidden. Medium to light body with a lingering bitter finish. A bit warming on the way down. This was the IIPA hit for this year in my mind. Way better than Hopslam or any of the other big names were. If they can do this one consistently I am definitely on board.

Pour deep orange with finger thick white head decent lacing. Aroma skunky with mint, honey, and citrus hops. Taste here comes the hops. Big citrus floral and grassy hops, with a subtle nudge of malt caramel and honey. Palate very bitter medium to full body with a very fine prickly carb ab well hidden. Overall tasty smash in the face of hops.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
2011 version. Phenomenal pine oil and tangerine hop. Mint leaf. Outstanding.
The appearance is orange, with very thick lace. Good carbonation and some decent head.
The flavor ... and there is lots of it: Toasted malts, piney hops, tangerine citrus. Mint leaf still comes in with a sweetish finish. Hops also turn bitter to balance the malts.
The palate is creamy, a little astringent to the touch. Leaves the tongue a little numb. Sweet, minty, woody, bitter, delicious.
