4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fresh off the truck from the Biergarten. Thanks Freddy!
12oz. served into a snifter glass.
A - Golden orange with a hefty white head that stays through the entire session.
S - Wow! Smells very fresh, floral, leafy green, sweet grapefruit, pineapple, green pine resin, mild onion,
T - Dense perfume hops, sweet mango, cantaloupe, tangarine, grapefruit, intense pine resin, all backed by candy like sweet malt. The finish is provides a ridiculously long bitter finish.
M - Smooth thick feel with moderate creamy carbonation.
If you like hops, this is your dream come true. I’ve had insanely hoppy beers in the past but none come close to pulling the aroma, bitterness, juicy flavor, and balanced malt that this perfect beer provides.
As I rate this I find myself going back to every IIPA that I’ve tasted trying to find a better candidate...but I can’t.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - light amber in color with an average head and some lacing. Piney hop flavor with an oily mouthfeel. The finish is dry and bitter. Was much like a New Belgium Rampant.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a glen brown color without much head. Intense hop flavors through the whole taste. Though some of the hop flavors are a little harsh.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
solid beer. Resinous smell and clear gold pour with light tan head. Taste is balanced amazingly with the malts and hops. Very chewy for a DIPA but that’s how i like em. Very big grapefruit taste initially followed by a big malt bill that settles the hops down, but leaves them lingering on the palate for some time.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a nice light copper with a nice head and lacing. Aromas of rich honey-like malt, caramel, straw, slight dankness, piney resin, & tropical fruit, followed by a deliciously bitter hop blast on the palate with herbal resin, grass, hints of perfume, & a solid malt presence that is quickly overcome by a strong grassy and white pepper finish. Excellent!

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Probably the best double IPA I have tasted so far. Definitely hoppy (look at the IBU number!) but balanced by a good malt backbone that doesn’t get too sticky or sweet.

Classic. Had a nice white head with lacing, and a wonderful fruit smell of oranges.
Hop bomb flavor of juicy hops and piney hop on the back end. classic.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Love love love this stuff as screaming fresh as possible. Aroma is piney but also has a fresh floral character to it. On the palate the bitterness bits in the beginning but fades as the honey sweet malts balance it out. The abv is hidden well but this stuff will put you down if you’re not careful.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle. Aroma of hops and ocean. Pretty beer - looks like your typical AIPA with lacing. Flavor is a sprucey, citrusy hop explosion that I even feel in my gums. There’s also malt which tries its best to tone down the hops, but to no avail. 10.4%? Who knows? Hops hiding alcohol well. Getting pepper and basil notes midway thru. A sugary sweetness appears about halfwat thru All that said, this is a very well done IPA that is a pleasure to drink.
