3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Huge citric and piney hops with some lighter lemon and cat piss. Just enough of a sweet malt profile to make it drinkable, but this is definitely quite the hop bomb. I prefer just a bit more restraint in my IPAs, but this is still really good.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Fire Works Pizza in Arlington, VA over the weekend. Served in a sample glass.
Pours a clear golden-peach color with a nice white head and some nice lacing on the way down. The nose carries some good tropical fruits behind some strong orange and citrus. The flavor falls back quite a bit from there, as the bitterness gets to me a bit too much for the hop flavor. Body is light-medium with average carbonation and a hefty bitterness paired with a fair amount of alcohol. Nose was by far the best part of this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice clear amber/copper color. Good head retention on this one as well. aroma is grapefruit, woody/pine and toast. Flavor is nice too. Same thing, grapefruit, earthy/pine notes and a nice bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice, reasonably priced Impy IPA. Would be a go to for the price except at 10% you wouldn’t want to go there too much. Nice floral and citrus on the nose and solid malt to carry the hops. Nice option to have out there though. I might have rated this higher but I tasted it against Knee Deep’s Simtra which is a stellar TIPA.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
beautiful aroma-piney, citrus, earthy all in one but not muddled. Sticky-icky resin flavors. At the start seems like a pretty easy-drinking DIPA but after the second bottle it becomes overwhelming with palate fatigue and kills my tongue. A fine example nonetheless.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle poured. orange/amber in color. pungent hop aroma from the jump, mainly citrus and pine.sticky sweet on the tongue and extra bitter. kind of wrecks your palate. astringent and boozy as well. definitely a hop bomb which i’m pretty sure they were going for.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nice Copper, with a nose of heavy hops. Very dry and nutty flavor, with notes of bananas, Not a huge fan of hoppy beer, but have to say for a hoppy beer this had really good flavors. I could probably drink another.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(bottle). Big floral hop aroma with foamy head and orange-copper complexion. Sharp hop flavor with some fruitiness within the high IBU. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tried this on tap and from the bottle. This beer really lets you know that you are drinking something. It has a nice hoppy aroma and plenty of head. There is a nice balance of hops and malts but there sure are a lot of them =O It is not very hard to tell that this beer packs over 10% ABV and I think it is a masterpiece of triple digit IBUs. Not a go-to beer for me but I will keep some on hand when I can find it :)
