Sep 4, 2007 Hazy orange with a bit of amber. Head was suprisingly small. Citrus hops, caramel malts, sorta weak aroma. Medium body. Flavor is pretty hoppy, but lacking in actual flavor. Citrus, pine, caramel. Finishes with a bite, but its almost unpleasent, not like a normal hoppy finish. Bitterness lingers. Shockingly dissapointed. Their PA is a work of art, this is a work in progress.

Sep 3, 2007 Bottle at Beer Bistro. Orangey lightly hazy body, moderate head. Resiny hops in aroma, but not a whole lot of them. (6+) Pleasant moderate bitterness, not nearly as much hops as expected. (6+) Average palate. Suffered from following a bottle of the SN Pale Ale which frankly had a lot more flavour and depth to it. Disappointing.

Aroma: mild floral hop aroma
Flavor: flavor starts off with mild malt, then the hops kick in and last through the finish
Overall: mild for a S/N, robust for anyone else

Aug 31, 2007 Bottled. An amber coloured beer with patches of quite thick off-white head, and a little lacing. The aroma is pleasantly hoppy. Good pine notes. The taste has good clean piney hops. Some fruity moussey malts. A really nice IPA which doesn’t go for agression; just taste.

Aug 30, 2007 Faint hops nose, some malt, opaque orange, pours a large custard head. Assertive taste of the hops, grapefruit, quite good, light hearted malts though. Light bodied, balanced, sweet and pleasantly bitter.

Aug 27, 2007 Everything Sierra Nevada touches turns to gold. This is my favorite IPA. Nice dark amber color, nice fluffy white head. It has all the hoppy ipa characteristics but is never too abbrasive to any of the senses.

Aug 26, 2007 Amber of color with an off white head. An aroma of hops, grape and malt. A flavor of grass, grape and notes of malt.
