Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

Bottle. Pours an orange-copper body with a small creamy white head. The aroma is slightly diacetyl with plenty of sweet bread and oily fruit hops. Sweet malts in the flavour accompanied by some generic abrasive hops. Very bitter and slightly warm in the finish. Quite drinkable but lacking in sessionability.

Poured golden amber. Nice aroma of yeast, hops, and spices. Well balanced with a nice bitterness. Perfect on a warm day. Probably my favorite everyday beer.

from a 12 oz bottle. I expected more from SN. Lots of bittering hops here, but not much middle flavor hops. Carmel flavor is there. The alcohol at nearly 7% is not really that noticeable and sneaks up on you. Something between Celebration and this would be a great IPA. A solid beer that does not offend, but like i said I expected much more.

bottle Amber colour, fine head. Fruity apricot and hop aroma. Somewhat fruity flavour with notes of salty liquorice and LOADS of bitter hops.

Bottled sample via mnurda. Light orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of sweet grasses, a bit of spice, and British pale malt. Leaner than expected, with some earthy, almost leafy, bitterness. A bit of caramel flavor, but the malt profile is dominated by that soft English pale malt flavor. A solid amount of Golding hop character blends well with that vaguely citrus-like Sierra Nevada yeast character. It’s ratings probably suffer a bit because Celebration is so damn good, but I quite like this as well. It’s very much a British IPA, except for the cleaner yeast profile.

355ml bottle. Amber coloured. Aroma is hoppy and fairly alcohol. Flavour is more balanced than I imagined, enough malt with hoppy balance. I expected this to be quite like Celebration but it’s more restrained and English in style. Very drinkable for the strength.

Odd: caramel and alcohol in aroma. Doesn’t seem hoppy and more in the direction of balanced. Flavour is caramel malt and alcohol with resiny hops hitting with little bitterness in the end.
