Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

Bottle. Amber with a slight, short-lived off-white head. Aroma of spicy hops with some malty sweetness. Flavour was earthy with a hoppy finish. Not bad.

Bottel.33cl. Ok bitternes, but not to die for. Nice color, good head. It need´s more aroma of hop´s, more like the Pale Ale. this one is not the best of Sierra Nevada.

A very flowery IPA. Medium body, nice and malty, smooth and a nice bitter finish. A solid session IPA.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Clear, copper pour with a small, beige head. The nose is too weak I think, with malt and hops, but too weak and boring, yet nice. Malt and hops in a nice union in the flavor, but far from a world class beer. Medium body and a mostly hoppy finish. It’s not a bad beer, but I would like an IPA to be fuller, more complex and hoppier. (070512)

Ruby red body with a rather fizzy white head that disapears fast. Aroma is af flowery hops and has small notes of malt. Flavor mostly flowery hops and little caramel malt. Nice balanced with the strong tast of flowery hops and the weaker taste of caramel malt. Has a creamy body that is rather thick and the head is creamy to.

Not one of my favorites by them, but decent none the less. Dry, plenty of hoppiness, smooth, but has a bitter finish that reminded me of crushed aspirin. Better IPA’s are out in the market. Just not as good as it looked.

Bottle (From Bitter Virtue). I was looking forward to this as I like the Pale Ale. This was much maltier with caramelly flavours and some huskiness creeping in. The hops are slightly piney and earthy and finish with a slightly metallic bitterness. The malt seems to dominate throughout which isn’t what I’d expect. Disappointing.

12oz bottle(2007)-Medium amber body with a hige white head and an aroma of hops, pale lager, and grapefruit. Taste of hops, grass, and bitterness. A medium body. Not a bad IPA
