Jun 27, 2007 Bottle. This India Pale Ale lacks the boldness I’m used to in other quality IPAs. Light aromas of herbs, cookie and dough, with notes of brown sugar and nutmeg. Color is clear amber with a fizzy off white head which is mostly lasting and has good lacing. Flavor is lightly acidic and fairly bitter to start and finishes lightly sweet and acidic. Palate is between oily and dry and carbonation is lively. It finishes dry. Definitely not a bad beer, just misses the point of an IPA

Jun 24, 2007 Bottle. Small off-white fizzy head that mostly diminished. Clear sparkling body with an amber color. Fair lacing. Light floral notes, grapefruit, apricot, liquorish, caramel and fruit notes as well. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Light bitter hoppy flavor with some sweet malty notes. Light dry and bitter finish. Nothing spectacular, but easy and nice to drink in the summer heat.

Jun 24, 2007 Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing white head. Clear copper body. Relatively sweet and fruity malt aroma. Hops dominated of course the flavor. Actually so much that I could taste nothing else.

Jun 23, 2007 2007 bottle. Copper gold pour with a small white head that fades to a nice lace. Mild grapefruit aroma with a healthy sweet malt balance. Piny hop bite to the flavor with lots of caramel maltiness rounding out the finish and some lingering bitterness. Medium mouth feel.

Jun 22, 2007 Bottled. LIght amber coloured. Unclear. Ligth beige head. Quite skunky and metallic aroma. Some herbal notes. Flowers, sweetness and light citrusnotes in the flavour. Meidum bodied. Dry. Bitter in the end.

Jun 19, 2007 Bottle. 2007 vintage. Quite rich and robust, hop-dominated of course but supported by a solid malt-backbone. Nice to see American brewers using English hops in their IPA, I was quite taken by surprise by it. Fine and enjoyable.

Jun 19, 2007 Given that their pale ale is such a standard they had to go a different way, I just wish they would of taken a different path. I did not think the hops and malts went together that well and while perhaps more of an authentic IPA it came out sort of bland. Thin body and a stale aftertaste.
