Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear sunset orange color with a very minor off white layer of bubbles, mostly around the edges, with some delicate lacing. Aroma is a burst of fruit with some malt and grass. Taste is of malt and earthy hops with notes of fruit and alcohol. Light to medium bodied and mildly carbonated. Begins and ends moderately bitter.

This IPA pours a light orange with a medium head and some lacing. The aroma of the hops and citrus is lacking the intensity I’m accustomed to with IPA’s. Very mellow aroma with light citrus peaking. Not much bitterness, lacking that refreshing punch. However malt pairs up with the hops quite nicely. Relaxing finish without the punch. Good IPA if you do not like the norm. bitter start to finish. Clean, refreshing, and good brew.

12 oz. bottle in Florida, served cold in a wine glass.

App.: Light-medium amber, clear, small white head, some lacing. Aroma: Fresh green hops, piney, resinous and very slightly citrusy; appreciate the lack of c-hops!; some malts (caramel, toffee); light fruitiness and earthiness. Palate: Medium body and soft carbonation. Flav.: More malt than on the nose, biscuits; off-dry with a pleasantly bitter finish.

Balanced and restrained. Nice.

12oz bottle from Florian’s. Amber-red body with a half inch of white head that leaves a fair bit of lacing as it goes. Smells fruity and hoppy. Tastes like citrussy hops and biscuit and caramel malts. Medium bodied, and very drinkable. A solid classic IPA.

Light hazy golden colour with a small white head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with a hoppy fruity and floral note. Hoppy, citric flavor with fruity notes and a light malty sweetness.

Aroma very fruity...complex tones of fruitiness. Flavour: very bitter, dry. No noticeable sweetness, no noticeable sourness. A fairly noticeable malt flavour is present too. This is exactly how I like an IPA, and I think this is certainly one of my fav. IPA’s. The complexity is in the aroma of the hops, which is very powerful but without being unbalanced.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige cereamy head. Grassy and hoppe aroma and flavour. Not very complex nor very interesting.

bottle 12 oz ’07. Clear amber with copper tint, off white head fell to a thin rocky cap quickly, minimal lace. Plenty of large bubble carb. Aroma of plastic and overcooked medium roasted malt, min hops. Flavor is a burst upfront of medium roasted caramel malt that is dull and overcooked tasting which fades quickly into a somewhat harsh, poorly integrated hop bitterness. There was a touch of green apple with a bit of spiciness. Lacks depth, malty creaminess, and hop flavor. The bittering hops hit early and linger into an annoyingly shrill finish. Another S/N dud.
