Aroma is of light hops, but overall it’s not too strong. Flavor is similar. Balanced, and really not a bad beer. It just seems like it’s missing a little bit of something that would make it stand out. Soonah (910), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

Some lacing. The aroma was floral and pine hops with only a bit of sweetness. Flavor was floral hops that rolled into pine and ran smack into an unappealing metallic aftertaste. Average mouthfeel. Not terrible, just uneventful. dkoonce (883), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Bottle. Amber, with a loose, billowy white head. Malty aroma, with some mild hops. Sweet, with a medium body and a sour finish. Not the best IPA I’ve had. Fairly recent and likely well cared for in transit. So, Not sure what’s up with the off finish. Sierra Nevada usually does beers better. Doon (90), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Not the best, but it doesn’t taste artificial/dumbed down as some of the other large mirco/macros are starting to churn out. Didn’t quite have the distinct aroma of some other IPA’s..Not bad though... sayravai (3729), Helsinki, Finland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 1, 2007 (Bottled) Clear amber with a small, cloudy head. Very mild aroma (for an IPA) with some woody-toffeeish malt, and British-style aromatic hops. Reasonably hoppy, somewhat harsh, berry-toffee-malty flavor. Medium-bodied, dry and very bitter palate with low carbonation. Quite a disappointment: a very bitter, but hardly aromatic or enjoyable brew. Goldings seems not to be a hop you should use too much (or dry-hop with). BuckeyeBoy (1654), Boise, Idaho, USA
