Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

Not great. My favorite pale ale is Sierra Nevada’s. That’s my go-to beer. But I also love IPA’s, and this one doesn’t cut it for me. Reddish color, take a whiff and you already know you’re not in for anything bold or suprising. The taste is more like a pale ale to me, just a bit hoppier. It actually reminds me a bit of their pale, but obviously that’s not the taste I’m looking for from an IPA. Sierra Nevada brews good beer, (especially their pale and their porter!) but I think they played it too safe with this IPA by trying to appeal to the masses with something mediocre.

12 oz. 2007 bottle. Amber in color. Nose is a bit weak, so much so that the alcohol almost seems to dominate. Head was minimal and didn’t last. A fairly mild IPA, hopwise, with most of the bitterness up front, but quite drinkable.

Candy floss scent with hints of rose wine and coriander, no head which disappeared immediately, a orange, no, rose colour in appearance with a moderate kick and a long finish makes this my first and therefore favorite IPA

2007 bottle. This has to be one of the most well-balnced IPAs I have tasted. I was excited to try some of this after years of the PA. You know me, I like my PAs with the I in front. This could be a great session beer, as it is so balanced.

this beer was poured into a beer stein with a good head to it. there was a smell of hopps and had a nice dark color to it. the flavor was an intence malt and a lot of hops and had that bitterness to it which was good. There was a nice smooth bitter taste left on the back of my toung which was enjoyable and made it good to drink.

(Bottle) Pours amber. Fruity, caramelly aroma with citrusy tones of oranges, grapefruit and some lemon. Undertones of grass and hay, maybe a light floral touch. Caramelly, tiny syrupy flavour with hoppy tones of citrus. Lightering, medium to full afterbitterness of grapefruit, citrus peel and resin. Well balanced, medium to full body.

33 cl bottle, Minneapolis. Deep golden colour, thin head, strong malt/hop aroma in almost equal measure. Nice and bitter on the first sip with the hoppy crispness lasting long afterward. Quite nice.

Very nice IPA. Poured nicely. Well balanced flavor with a nice amount (but not too much) hops. Nice bitter finish.
