milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Mar 25, 2007 Spice, not fruit, aroma and front-end taste. Medium body. Light amber color. Very bitter, lingering after-taste---which I like! WSSmiles (124), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 24, 2007 Bottle 3/23/07
poured a copperish with a vanilla head very typical of the recent ipa i have had. Flavor was of spice and nutty. Again don’t know if I m on a bad streak but nothing of note to say. bethmatt0421 (317), Covington, Kentucky, USA Mar 24, 2007 Aroma is spice and floral. Flavor is mainly spice, heavy hops, with none of the floral characteristics coming through. It was one dimensional to me. Not much of a good example of a "good" IPA. At least it was light bodied. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Mar 22, 2007 12oz bottle-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is flat hops, musty malt. Taste is flat hops-bitter, secondary malt. OK carbonation. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Mar 18, 2007 Updated: Dec 29, 2007Clear bronze color. Biscuit and citrus aroma. Clean. Some pinecone hops, less obvious taste of orange; slick, stale iced tea is a bit sharp. Sharply carbonated and medium bodied. Slightly cottony mouthfeel. Refreshing and enjoyably simple, if an excessively tepid example. Tmoney99 (4652), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Mar 18, 2007 Bottle from Jungle Jim’s. Poured a clear copper color with an large off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate hoppy citrus and pine aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium hoppy bitter flavor with a smooth hoppy citrus bitter finish of average duration. Solid drinkable brew. larsniclas (3383), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 18, 2007 Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg.
Hazy amber. Thick beige head.
Light hoppy aroma.
Really bitter flavour with grassy hoppiness. A bit bland to be an american IPA. brstp (201), Princeton, New Jersey, USA Mar 17, 2007 2007 bottle. Classic orangey IPA color, decent off-white head. Not much in the way of aroma except a little Sierra Nevada skunk. pine, very clean. A little more SN skunk in the taste, some pine and grass hops, crisp tart and quite bitter finish.
