Good color, a little lighter than other IPA’s but definitely an attractive color, smell is light of hops and i mean LIGHT... taste is downright wrong. not nearly enough hops the SNPA i had the other night had much more hop character than this, finish is alcoholic burn and bitter.
Probably a bad bottle, will have to consider rerating in the future. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA

Malt and floral hops in the nose, taste is smooth up front and lots of floral hops in the tail. Some fruitiness, floral, and earth tones. Crisp, lingering hops finish. hayduke (1629), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 5, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle poured a clear and attractive copper with a nice fat white head and good lacing. Nose of malts, hops, and fruits. Decent mouthfeel, and nice bitter flavor with a good bitter finish befitting an IPA.. If you like you IPAs on the tame side this is a good one. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Bottle poured into shaker glass. Clear orange appearance with mblera large white head. Aroma has a slight hop tinge to it with some pilsner malt. Flavor is smooth and very drinkable with a bit of crystal malt and a slightly piney hop profile. Has a buttery flavor throught Finish is bitter bread that is just bold enough to complete this beer. mk70 (62), New York, USA

It’s a good IPA, but I expected more as I truely enjoy Sierra Pale Ale and Celebration. riversideAK (2670), Shoreline, Washington, USA

Poured a clear deep copper with an inch and a half think tan head that stuck around for awhile (head is always in the pour. I prefer the frothy awesomeness). Smelled of malt and light citrus with some alcohol coming through. Upon first sip, grapefruity hops overwhelm the taste, although there is still a nice malt balance. Alcohol comes through quite a bit in the taste, too for such a modest abv. The after taste is of that delicious English-style IPA bitterness. A good IPA that I would buy again. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
