| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2007 Not bad, but not the best IPA, would be better labeled as a pale or esb in my opinion. Pours copper, very clear, with a eggshell white head. Malty sweet nose with a floral citrus hop nose. Lightly bready toasty flavor that stacks up against a strong bitter hop finish. I get a slight vegitable flavor though in the aftertaste. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 6, 2007 Light floral hop aroma from a copper body with a frothy white head. Medium palate. Roasted malt flavor with bitter floral hops. Earthy flavor. Not my kind of IPA. verymerrymonk (256), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Pours a clear copper with a rocky white head. Very nice looking beer. Aroma is sharp hops, but little else. Flavor doesn’t give much up front but flows into a very dry bitter finish. Kind of indifferent on this one but it’s east drinking. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2007 Bottle Pours a nice clear deep amber, with dense creamy sandy colored head. Lots of heavy lacing. Aroma is mostly rich slightly toasted malts and some citrusy hops. Flavor is deep sweet malts. Slightly woody and full. Hop bittering is not so sharp and crisp like others but rounded, a bit more subtle, balanced and just allaround nice. The lingering bite is more tell tale of the style. Not what I would call a "Hop Head Delight" but quite enjoyable. mj (4993), Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 2, 2007 Bottle. Muddled, doughy, butter-covered hops in the nose with a light tin scent as well. Oily, slick olive oil, crisp lemon and pine flavor, moderately sharp bittering hops, ESB-like crispness to the hops. Very nice, but the nose is disappointing.
