Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

This beer poors a nice dark copper color toped with a froth off white mostly lasting head. Mod lacing is apparent. Aroma is moderately hoppy with a malty presence detected as well. Flavor is slightly sweet initially with a nice earthy hopp bitterness in the finish. My primary nock on this beer is that its palate is a little light for my taste

GABF 06. Very drinkable IPA but one dimensional, hops were present, and the body was pretty thin.

A serviceable IPA. Plenty bitter with a medium mouthfeel. Some malt, but tilted to bitterness, with pine resin. OK with food, but with all the balanced IPAs avaialable, I would seek those out first.Nice head.

Bottle courtesy of ross. Pours a very bubbly orange-amber with an average size mostly lasting off-white head. Nice sweet aroma with honey and fruit, sweet malt and very faint hops. Smells nice but where are the hops? Flavour: Wow, that’s quite bitter! I guess the hops are there all right, just not so much in the aroma. A good amount of hops backed by sweet malt and a surprising alocoholic bite -- it’s not overwhelming or anything I just didn’t realise this was 6.9% and you can taste it. Medium bodied. I would have liked a little more flavour but it’s still a pretty good IPA.

whats the deal with this guy? seems like the hops missed the train. i got a little more regular lager flavor and very little hops. it was bland, unexciting and unsexual. it quenched my thirst well though. i just expected much more from SN. still a solid brew though despite my negative tone here.

On tap golden in color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a light citrus hops and a touch of sweet malt. Flavor was citrus hops with a slght bitter finish. A touch of malt could be detected in there somewhere.

on tap: small pale head, strong aroma. typical IPA in appearance. very strongly bitter hops overpowered this beer and i was not a fan.
