Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

[Bottle - Liquid Solutions] Sharp golden colored beer. A great hops aroma with a great flavor. Loved the hops through out this beer. Has a very high Hops flavor this is not for the everyday IPA drinker.

Clear golden hue with a light to moderate head that quickly fades. Very bitter finish that bites hard.

Pours golden w/ a medium sized creamy froth. Aroma of citrus rind. Medium to full nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are dry with bitter lime rind, caramel and a big malty backbone. Nice asprin burn on the finish. Overall: a nice specimen worthy of a second glass.

Clear amber body with a moderate head with decent lacing. Aroma is hoppy with notes of grapefruit, citrus, spices. Also caramel. Maybe some English hops in here, not positive. Definitely wasn’t like most PNW IPAs. While the balance here was good, it was far from my favorite example. I guess I just prefer the blast of PNW hops instead of Goldings or whatever it is.

This doesn’t seem like an English pale ale. After looking at the style descriptions, i guess it could go either way. Nice creamy two fingered head [doesn’t last too long]. Golden amber color. The aroma is a little lacking, but this has been in the refrigerator for awhile. taste is a nice sharp hop bite. Not too malty mouth-feel, but very tasty nevertheless.

Hm. Cute label. I’m guessing this is more faithfull to an old school IPA than the nu-metal stuff floating around San Diego. Almost tastes like an ESB. Good, drinkable, but only if it’s free or my best option at some random pub that doesn’t know any better. Man, I hate to diss on Sierra Nevada 2 reviews in a row because I love the Bigfoot and the Celebration, but this just isn’t my kind of ale. Ship it off to the troops in India, maybe they’ll appreciate it more.

Copper in color with an ample frothy beige head. Aroma is sweet hops with grass. Flavor is slightly sweet, good bitterness. Finish is fairly bitter. Very good.
