Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2007: Orange with a small but lasting off-white head. Pine, grapefruit, grass aroma. Sweet with a perfectly balancing bitterness. Juicy, drinkable IPA.

Wonderful citrusy floral hop aroma. It doesn’t have much of head but the deep golden color is awesome. Floral notes come through. It is quite smooth compared to other IPA’s and leaves a nice hoppy after taste. Overall I like, I can drink this pretty much anytime any where.

On tap. Nice large off-white head. Fairly malty for an IPA, lacking the strong floral aroma I would like, but still somewhat piney. Taste is on the sweet side; not as hoppy or complex as some IPAs. Full-bodied with a very long, somewhat oily finish. Definitely drinkable, but not something I’ll seek out again.

Tap at Hop Devil. Big white head laces well. Very fresh, rich hops in both aroma and flavor make this an extremely quenching beer that goes down really easy. Good bready malts in the back. Quite a bit better than expected.

Quite tasty, very enjoyable. Aroma and taste is quite hoppy and was a welcome surprise. Pours fairly dark for an IPA, but still an amber colour. Drinks very clean and easy. Overall very refreshing, was extremely impressed.

Beautiful amber color. The aroma is too light. Good body structure, good malt taste and very strong hopping, with resins and very light fruitness. Long final.

Beautiful amber color, head and lace. Simple aroma. Good taste, full bodied, malty, with a reasonably strong hopping (having some resins, but also lightly earthy). Very long final. Midway between an English and an American IPA; good.

Bottle from cellar accident. Aroma is primnarly grassy, but peasy, pineapple and fruity esters off the yeasty, toffee malt backing, hints of candy sugar. Taste is bitter orange and peach in syrup, toffee and caramel malts, dry and bitter finish. This seems to let me down somehow, id prefer the pale ale over it i recon, theres too much malt character and not enough aroma hop.

Great IPA, I drink a lot of IPA’s and this is one of the good ones. Doesn’t have the intense alcohol taste of some IPAs. very hoppy but good
