Pine, grapefruit, grass aroma. Sweet with a perfectly balancing bitterness. Juicy, drinkable IPA. sew13 (9), Cranston, Rhode Island, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Wonderful citrusy floral hop aroma. It doesn’t have much of head but the deep golden color is awesome. Floral notes come through. It is quite smooth compared to other IPA’s and leaves a nice hoppy after taste. Overall I like, I can drink this pretty much anytime any where. thepilferer (23), walnut creek, California, USA

Fairly malty for an IPA, lacking the strong floral aroma I would like, but still somewhat piney. Taste is on the sweet side; not as hoppy or complex as some IPAs. Full-bodied with a very long, somewhat oily finish. Definitely drinkable, but not something I’ll seek out again. puzzl (2599), New York, New York, USA

Very fresh, rich hops in both aroma and flavor make this an extremely quenching beer that goes down really easy. Good bready malts in the back. Quite a bit better than expected. mannika (100), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours fairly dark for an IPA, but still an amber colour. Drinks very clean and easy. Overall very refreshing, was extremely impressed. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Draught at Cricket’s Grill, Waco, 2006-12-22, 6-4-7-5-15=37 Beautiful amber color, head and lace. Simple aroma. Good taste, full bodied, malty, with a reasonably strong hopping (having some resins, but also lightly earthy). Very long final. Midway between an English and an American IPA; good. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Bottle from cellar accident. Aroma is primnarly grassy, but peasy, pineapple and fruity esters off the yeasty, toffee malt backing, hints of candy sugar. Taste is bitter orange and peach in syrup, toffee and caramel malts, dry and bitter finish. This seems to let me down somehow, id prefer the pale ale over it i recon, theres too much malt character and not enough aroma hop. Haslinger (642), Syracuse, New York, USA
