Look and feel great. pilsnerrogge (1796), Finspång, Sweden

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 10, 2006 12 ounce bottle from matta. This is a decidedly English version of the style. Pours a very clear light amber with a dirty white resinous head. The aroma is quite earthy, with background caramel notes fighting their way to be noticed. Toasty malt flavors. Big time btterness. Long dry finish. Good and full bodied. Leaves the mouth slick after each drink. ryan (1781), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 9, 2006 Pours a nice, clear amber with a big, off-white head. The aroma is fairly light, some caramel, pine and grass. The flavor is not lacking however, rich caramel, piney, some citrus. Full-bodied, long bitter finish. 11026 (1772), Alabama, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2006 12oz. bottle. Pours a clear deep amber color, touches of red. Barely, just by a thread, a whitish head forms and quickly fades down to a bare ring and some residual foam islands on top of the beer. Fair lacing. Aroma is lightly floral intertwined with some malt sweetness, really this is a rather ho-hum IPA in aroma. Medium bodied, average carbonation level. Flavors make up where the aroma lacks. Pleasantly bitter without overwhelming. Balance is well presented in flavor with a touch of sweet malt playing for a second or so. Well made, if not amazing.
