4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: Good bitterness - hops control the flavor, and that’s quite OK with me

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark orange, thin fizzy head. Oak and apple and alittle whisky on the nose. Taste is very different - extremely hoppy, buttery malt, and some alcohol. Alas the hops dominate and the hops are drowned - unbalanced. I was hoping Sierra Nevada wouldn’t catch the US ’IPA’ disease, but alas they have.
