Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

This poured a fairly deep color for an IPA, with a short off-white head and decent lacing. Aroma is pine and sweet citrus. Nice balanced taste that ends with a lingering hop. This is a good everyday IPA when it’s available.

Rated on draft @ Stockholm beer festival. Clear amber. Good beige head. Pine/Cascade hoppy aroma Grapefruit, pine and a full sweetness balanced by the huge bitterness.

Had at Fred's Alehouse. I was fairly impressed with this brew. Good amout of resinous hops and a carmelly malt sweetness to back it up. Another great brew from Sierra.

On tap. Poured a medium, hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus (mainly oranges) with some flowers. Nice bitter finish. Decent IPA.

This beer pours a rich orange color with a small white head leaving some lacing down the sides. So far I have never been let down by a sierra nevada beer and this is no exception! This a beer in the classic style of an ipa that I will be buying again! Nice balance of hops giving it that traditional hoppy flavor with a good amount of hops to balance it out. Cheers!

On tap at papago. Nice citurs aroma along with some fruit tree aroma. Light color of copper with decent head and some lacing. Flavor had citrus oronges and grapefuits flavors to it. Cool and crisp on the palate. Good stuff.

Quickly becoming one of a my favorites. Bitter from start to finish. Nice amber-ish color contrasts nicely with a perfect white head.

12 oz bottle. was very surprised to see this is one my local beer stores. shocked even. had never even heard of it. felt compelled to purchase a bottle. Yes, this doesnt have the tipical over the top ’hophead’ aroma and flavor that we have come to expect from the west (Avery, Alesmith, Stone), but i cant say i didnt enjoy this brew. As it says on label, this is brewed in the english tradition of ipa’s which concentrates more on the malts as oppose to the hops. wonderful ruby colour with a small off-white head. flavor is sweet and malty with a nice hop overtone that i think really hits the spot. a refreshing break from the west coast hopmonsters i must admit i enjoy, but do not need to have everytime.
