COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

Appearance: very hazy and cloudy gold color, pours with a very large white head with good density Aroma: banana, clove, smells very good, Taste: banana, has a tang to it, very slight bitterness on the finish, Palate: lively carbonation, leaves mouth kind of dry, light mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste Overall: could use more froth in the mouthfeel, I really don't like this much bitterness in my hefeweizens, not bad though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Craft Islington. It pours cloudy pale orange with a small white head. The nose is earthy, wheat, bruised banana, spice. The taste is soft, orange squash, banana, wheat, earth, light spice, touch of creaminess and light bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a game-changer, but well balanced and rather drinkable nonetheless.

Uklar gul med gærsvæv og holdbart hvidt skum. Duften er meget"tysk" med sødme, koriander og banan. Smagen er sød, men rigtig fin balance med den diskrete humle. Eftersmagen er lang, sødlig og let syrlig.

pours hazy pale yellow with a small white cap, some retention and lacing. ripened bananas, cloves, pepper, other spices, hint of wheat acidity and bubblegum, grass and bitter herbs, hint of sweetness - honey, chalk. moderate carbonation - slightly lacking, light body, balanced spicy-grassy-peppery finish. enjoyable but nothing spectacular.
