Fantastic hefe that is without the strong banana flavors you might find from others in the same style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle at Fox and Hounds, Åbenrå. Hazy orange with a light, white head. Aroma has typical weissbier elements like banana, wheat and some bubblegum, but there is also a hint of caramel, honey and oranges. Flavor is sweet citric fruity with some caramel malt, banana, wheat, fruity yeast and a bit spicy. Medium body and decent aftertaste. This is a decent hefe weissen with several extra nice flavors making in more interesting. Still without being to experimental, rather true to the style. Nice version of a not very exiting style.

Keg @ Friends of Ham, Leeds. Nice typically German hazy colour with a good weizbier aroma containing plenty of bananary-yeast action that continues into the taste, although not too full on compared to its German counterparts. Still, could’ve fooled me.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, poured into small white white glass. Dull, hazy gold colour, quickly receding white head. Smells like any wheat beer should, bananas, some citrus and a very gentle background spice. Taste is moderate, but in a good way. Not too much of anything, very balanced. Spritzy carbonation, short finish. Enjoyable, but probably better suited for summer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 9-05-2009 at Crown Liquors Event (Bottle) When poured, this beer forms a small white head, cloudy straw body, no visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The Aroma is banana, clove, spicy, wheat, yeast, and citrus. The Taste mimics the Aroma. The Palate is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, I enjoyed drinking/rating this beer as the flavors came together very well. This beer is worthy trying and a beer I would enjoy drinking again.

From bottle to glass. Straw color not as cloudy as a German hefe. Aroma of wheat, light clove and banana. Sweet wheat banana with a dry wheat finish. Good drinkable beer but not my favorite hefe.

Poured from bottle, pale hazy yellow with the suspended yeast. Thin white head. Smells of bread, light citrus, pears. Tastes subtle but complex, lots of yeasts but nothing overpowering like banana etc. Best hefe I've had.
