COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

@Basunen: Stor, trevlig doft av vete och banan. Smaken är lite söt med tydlig tuttifrutti och en fin len underton. En underbar mjuk veisen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Pours a nice yellow-orange color with a good head. Aroma of malt and citrus, a hit of banana. Sweet citrus flavor with a banana bread finish. Great balance, good mouth feel.

Has the aroma of fresh bananas, cloves, and a yeast/rye character. Pours a hazy orange color, with a thick dense head. Tastes again of fresh citrus, clove, with a somewhat mild hops flavor profile. Great on a hot summer day.

Aroma-not much there but a faint hint of cloves and vanilla. Appearance-hazy, beautiful golden color with a frothy but average head. Taste-slightly sweet and not very bitter, just a bit sour Palate-light to medium bodied, slightly creamy texture with lively carbonation. Overall, this is an outstanding beer in its class. I could see myself enjoying this at any time of the day in any weather. Wasn’t much to smell or look at, but the taste definitely made up for it, in spades. The Sierra Nevada boys have done it again!

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy murky orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is lightly wheat, sweetish, lightly banana and some other fruits. Tastes about the same. Fortunately not that overpowering banana, quite well balanced and actually quite pleasant.

Nice. Has a sprightliness I'm unaccustomed to in this style. Nice banana notes that I am accustomed to. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
