Light citrus, bannana and clove flavors. In general not a fan of american hefs. This is pretty good though. Much diffrent than sierra nevada’s other beers llcooldave (339), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Herbal aroma with come citrus mixed in. Thick foamy head, cloudy yellow in appearance. Flavor is surprisingly a spicy earthy malt with some yeast playing a part in the background and a herbal coriander/cilantro aftertaste. Overall, not bad... a bit more complex than expected. juiceisloose (678), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Pours a hazy yellowish orange color topped by a large and foamy off white head that slowly settles to a thin film. The aroma is classic hefe with notes of banana, yeast, clove, citrus, and spices. The flavor follows with sweet banana and bready yeast blended nicely the clove, citrus, and spices. Fresh wheat ties everything together. Medium bodied and smooth and very easy to drink with some nice hop bitterness on the backend. This is a nicely made hefeweizen. dchmela (1476), Orlando, Florida, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 12, 2009 This could be called Killerweiss. Kill smell, kill taste, killer palate - killerly the best of all the Sierra Nevada brews, bar none. Yum. Delicious Hefeweizen goodness. Too bad they said Kellerweis (meaning cellar-wise), instead of what they meant - Kellerweiss - cellar white (like Hefeweizen, cellar wheat). ilherps (237), Carbondale, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2009 For the style, I really enjoyed this beer. Fruity aromas lead to a fresh, spicy flavor, with citrus and clove present. Not at all my favorite style of beer, but this is quite tasty. allendodd (62), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Thanks to bhensonb. Pours a hazy, dark yellow with a coarse, quickly dissipating head. Pulled this one as the last of my Dancing Man is all gone and I probably won’t be able to get any more until next summer. I’m afraid that SN isn’t going to be a good substitution. The nose is banana/yeast, and the initial taste is the same. Spice notes follow quickly but are not strong. The beer has the unusual character of being both slightly sweet then slightly astringent/dry immediately on the heels of the sweet - bot both don’t appear at the same time. The character in beers when these two are able to exist together create a nice complexity. The two don’t exist together here and the result is not all that great. In the end this beer is a little thin, the palate is a little coarse. There is some substance, but this is no Dancing Man. jb (1063), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Big nose on this, burst out of the glass. Heavy cloves, some banana and general fruitiness. Appearance is a bit cloudy, big head, couldn’t fill the glass cause of expansion. Palate is big-time bananas, wow. Full body, a bit of small bubbled carbonation. True to style and good.
