3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a well-hazed golden body under a lively, sudsy white head. Tart, dusty aroma of green banana and grains, with lighter notes of sour milk, clove and leafy green vegetables. Soft, dry mouthfeel, fulfilling on the palate, yet not "heavy". Wheaty banana flavor, tart and dry. Long-lasting aftertaste. A refreshing, summery Hefe, true to style, on one of this year’s first truly summery days in Chicago... although I felt a little bloated after I enjoyed two bottles. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ 6 pk./12oz., Foremost Liquors, Oak Forest, IL

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Doesn’t smell like a hefeweizen, i get spice and fruit.
Appearance- A slightly murky golden color with a small white head. Doesn’t look like a hefeweizen.
Taste- Has a nice semi-tart flavor but doesn’t even come close to a hefeweizen stle beer in the flavor department.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall- Not a bad beer but it is not in the flavor category of a hefeweizen.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nose is cloves, banana, orange, barley (odd), slight wheat. Taste is malt, banana, slight clove, wheat, the strange orange note, leading to a surprisingly bitter note, and a dry yeasty spiced finish. Mouthfeel is too carbonated.
This didn’t have the right taste profile for a hefeweizen (though it’s a style in which I am only a dabbler in), and was a bit bland.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
12 oz bottle, poured into a snifter at 40 degrees F.
Appearance: Pours a hazy straw gold, with a thick white head with decent retention.
Smell: Floral and citrus, which is not at all what one wants to smell from a hefeweizen.
Taste: And as the smell indicates, my Wall O Hop sensitivity strikes. This tastes like compost pile runoff, no other flavors perceptible.
Mouthfeel: Light and effervescent.
Overall: This is in keeping with every Sierra Nevada experience I have had, with the exceptions of Narwhal and Tumbler. Please discontinue this. It is emphatically not an actual hefeweizen.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy pale golden with a white top. Nice aroma of wheat, banana-esters, dough and pale malts. Taste is lightly sweet at first but with a very well balanced finish. Light pungent notes from the wheat and a very subtle bitterness. Fairly light bodied and drinkable. A fine hefeweizen on the lower abv-scale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy gold with white head. Aroma is grass, grains, yeast, herbally and floral with some sweet fruity notes. Taste is moderately sweet with flavors or banana, bubblegum, yeast, wheat, floral. Pretty good hefeweizen but not quite as good as some of the best german hefeweizens.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Irregular, just off-white head over lively carbonated unclear yellow to orange-golden beer. Clove, allspice, Jamaican pepper, other spices; some faint banana and citrus. Dry-spicy (nutmeg too?), light bitterish onset but then converting to light acidic wheat and fruitesters, fusels. Very carbonated; light to medium bodied, faint wheatslickness, refreshing. Nothing but very classical Hefeweizen - maybe a bit lighter MF.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bue en bouteille de 35.5cl, couleur blanche-blonde trouble, mousse épaisse et bonne effervescence, une bière avec les goût de malabar et de banane continuité sur le pain blanc et fin de bouche sur une pointe d’acidité.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
3 finger fluffy white head. Nice lacing and pale gold color. Aroma is clove, banana, yeast and pepper notes. Light to medium body that is silky smooth w/ moderate carbonation. Very tasty flavors of banana, clove and general sweetness from the wheat. Also getting a slight bit of belgian yeast/funk flavor. Detecting other flavors in there but it is complex and difficult to discern. But very pleasing in general. You get a slight peppery spice toward the end and the beer finishes somewhat dry. Excellent session beer at only 4.8%!! My new go to hefeweizen!!

Bue en bouteille de 355ml. Bière plutôt bien faite mais rien d'exceptionnel non plus. Les allemands font bien mieux. Correcte mais sans plus.
