COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

One of the best hefeweizen beers I have had. This beer has a fruity after taste that is just like the bottle proclaims "reminiscent of ripe banana".

Bottle pour courtesy of Jaclyn. Matte straw color with fluffy white head. Webbing. Well done. Full nose of cereal grains, light banana and clove. Runs sweet on taste, with heavy bubblegum. Pale malts and dough. Limited banana and apple.Creamy mouthfeel. Good play at style, but not at the same level as continental offerings.

The body is very cloudy with a pale yellow/tan color. Its head is like any good Hefeweizen, it is tall, thick and fairly long lasting. This makes for good lacing on the glass. In the nose I pick up lots of bready and phonic yeast character with notes of banana and spicy clove. On the tongue there are loads of bready yeast notes with hints of mashed up banana, clove and tangy wheat or sour dough bread. I am also getting very slight notes of pineapple or some other tropical fruit. The body has a solid medium feel with a firm smooth texture and mild carbonation.

Bottle from Glug Newcastle. Pours a deep golden/orange hue. Nice thin but lasting head. Delicate, subtle flavours of banana, citrus, cloves and wheat. A fantastic Sierra Nevada brew

Pours with a solid white head. Color is a hazy yellow. Aroma hits your nose with banana and a slit spice. Yeast is traditional Belgium and a bit of funk from the open fermentation. Nice smith summer drink.

Shared a 35,5cl bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow colour with a thin white head. Aroma is banana, clove, wheat and lightly yeast. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is well balanced light sweet and light bitter. Overall, a very good refreshing beer.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, big white head. Smell of bubble gum, banana, clove, wheat and light malts. Moderate sweet, fruity, alot of yeast flavors; more bubble gum, hints of citrus and spices. Ends with a moderate bitter finish. Quite descent take on a traditional Hefeweizen

Bottle, Non solo bar, Stockholm. OK, but too pronounced fruity features in the aroma for a Hefeweizen to my taste.

Flaska från bier-deluxe. Gyllenfärgad, grumlig, högt vitt skum. Stor friskt syrlig jästig vetedoft med lite nejlika. Fin frisk mustig smak, mjuk, krämig munkänsla. Smak av vete, curacao, nejlika, jäst, fruktkola, mynta. Fin komplex smakbild, aningen större beska än en hefe och lite åt wit-hållet i smakbilden.

Bottle. Hazy cloudy yellow with a thin white head. They nailed the style on this one. Banana with a hint of clove spice, medium carb, and easy on the palate. Smooth sweet finish. Paired perfectly with sliders on the grill on a hot summer afternoon. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
