COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

Good hefeweizen. Hazy gold pour with small white head. Aroma is banana pudding and yeast. Flavor is similar with a little added sweetness.

Pours a cloudy golden orange with big just-off-white foam head that retains well. Banana aroma and some malts and faint citrus. Taste balanced sweetness and bitter. Vibrant carbonation. Finish slightly sweet.

Gostosa, um pouco de gosto residual, mas ainda sim bem refrescante. Leve e clara. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Looks to style. Feels great. Nice smooth creamy feel. Everything one would expect of a great hefe. One of the better/best American made hefeweizens for sure. I would have no problem downing a boot.

Surely one of the better American version of the style. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a nice big foam head that has good head retention. Malts and yeast help to bring out a nice banana scent. Lemon zest can you get too. Flavor is sprite with banana and clove taste. Tart. Flows easy over the tongue smooth. A good refreshing version of a German classic. Drink well my friends

Bottle pour courtesy of Jaclyn. Matte straw color with fluffy white head. Webbing. Well done. Full nose of cereal grains, light banana and clove. Runs sweet on taste, with heavy bubblegum. Pale malts and dough. Limited banana and apple.Creamy mouthfeel. Good play at style, but not at the same level as continental offerings.

The body is very cloudy with a pale yellow/tan color. Its head is like any good Hefeweizen, it is tall, thick and fairly long lasting. This makes for good lacing on the glass. In the nose I pick up lots of bready and phonic yeast character with notes of banana and spicy clove. On the tongue there are loads of bready yeast notes with hints of mashed up banana, clove and tangy wheat or sour dough bread. I am also getting very slight notes of pineapple or some other tropical fruit. The body has a solid medium feel with a firm smooth texture and mild carbonation.

Bottle from Glug Newcastle. Pours a deep golden/orange hue. Nice thin but lasting head. Delicate, subtle flavours of banana, citrus, cloves and wheat. A fantastic Sierra Nevada brew
