Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. To serve, pour two-thirds into a glass, swirl and pour the rest.

Bottel@home. Pours cloudy gold color with a smaal white head. The aroma has notes of grass, ripe banana. Flavor is sweet, spicy and crispy at the same time, reminds me of a slightly oxidised beer. Also notes of dough and yeast. The mouthfeel is very crisp on the tongue, with a long finish. Ok Hefeweizen

Not a huge fan of his style but i gotta say this is a great overall! Heavy citrus with fairly heavy fermentation, delicate but complex ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a really citrusy Hefeweizen! The aroma is excellent with citrus notes, wheat, and faint bubble gum. Taste is similar light citrusy flavor, with wheat, and faint bubble gum notes at the end. The finish is a little sticky sweet that lingers a bit. Eat something salt with this to cut that and you be just fine dude.

Hefeweizen used to be my favorite type, but I’ve moved to darker beers. Poured into a frosty mug. Good head, cloudy amber, slightly more bitter than normal, wheat and grass.

Best American made Hefeweizen by far. It actually tastes like a real German Hefeweizen, comparable to Weihenstefan.

Pours a very cloudy golden-yellow with a thin frothy white head. Aroma is slightly nutty, banana bread, clove, and coriander. A quick whiff is like a piece of banana nut bread that just came out of the oven. Flavor is exactly what you’d expect from the aroma. Slightly spicey start fades into a banana nut bread flavor, with a long sweet malty finish. Absolutely delicious. Medium bodied, with perfect carbonation make give it a full feel yet still crisp and refreshing. Overall this is an excellent Hefeweizen.

Appearance: very hazy and cloudy gold color, pours with a very large white head with good density Aroma: banana, clove, smells very good, Taste: banana, has a tang to it, very slight bitterness on the finish, Palate: lively carbonation, leaves mouth kind of dry, light mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste Overall: could use more froth in the mouthfeel, I really don't like this much bitterness in my hefeweizens, not bad though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
