Bottle from Wine Emporium 111215. One of the better Kolschs I have had. Clean and crisp in the mouth with a smooth finish. A beer that is easy to drink especially on these warmer days.

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Clear yellow gold with a one finger white head. A lightly lemony aroma and that is tasted, too. Fruity bitterness that is also dry and has some sulfur. The after taste brought some Cascade effects that included light melons, tropical, and citrus fruit. This was nice and I was sorry to see the glass empty.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured clear gold with a white head. Nose of grassy and citrus hops and light fruit. Medium body. Flavor is noble hops. Caramel malts. Crisp dry finish. Darn nice and really drinks easily.

Pours a clear pale golden with a pretty big and fluffy white head. Aroma is subtle citrus and grass. Taste is sweet pale malt, grassiness, bread and very mild hops. Great interpretation of the style.

Bottle from Blackrock cellar. Pours clear gold. Excellent clarity. Bread, yeast, some estery fruit a little diacethnyl. Flavour is biscuit with a crisp clean finish. Looks great and is an exemplary example of style.

Pours basically clear straw golden with a fairly tall eggshell head that settles to a foamy ring and leaves some killer foamy and delicate lace. Nose involves bread dough toward sourdough, lightest noble hop spice, crisp clean grassy florals. Hardly sweet, fairly bitter. Light to medium bodied, active, clean, crisp, finishing on the dry side with dough and light hop oils. Really nice quaffable brew. I don’t know if they’re doing mixed packs of cans yet, but this needs to be in a can. Really digging it.

Bottle at home. Clear yellow, effervescent. Crackery, grassy aroma. The flavor is saltine crackers, grassy hops, big fat creamy round palate. Good.
