Bottle-friom the Summer Sampler 12pk Pours very pale straw yellow hue with a small fizzy white head. Nose is very nice-spicy hops, fresh cut grass, slight grainy note, slight sweetness. Smells authentic, maybe a tad hoppy. Flavors exhibit the spicy hops and pale grain husks, which give this beer a crackery malt profile. Very nice brew! Crisp refreshing on a hot summer day. Nothing special, just very well made and tasty Kolsch.

From bottle. Looks straw yellow. Aroma is bready malts and a touch of bitter citrus. Taste of pale grassy malts and citrus rind- grapefruit or lemon. Kolschy but NW hops shine with a piney bitterness at the finish. Very dry. A decent brew.

Summer mix pack. Possibly one of the best kolsch beers I’ver ever had. Cracker malt with a bit of spicy, more hops than usual that almost lends this towards a pils. Nice refreshing light summer drank.

Average for craft, phenomenal for Joe 6-pack. If this is a gateway than awesome, otherwise what's the point? Basically a lower abv approachable lager. I don't get this style at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle to tulip. Pours light straw. Head is white with okay lacing. Aroma of bready malts, citrus rind and flowers. Taste is of corn, bread, sweet malts, bubblegum, flowers, OJ, and earth. Some floral hoppy and perfume aftertaste. Medium oily mouthfeel. Decent Kolsch.

Bottle from the summer sampler, PKGD 04/01/15. Nose tart with spritzy citrus (lemon and grapefruit). Pours very pale straw with strong carbonation and a soapy bright white head. Light-medium bitterness, dry by attenuation but with some sweetness from the oily hops, some grapefruit rind mixed in with the short bready finish. Lightish body closer to medium and just right, a thin and weak pils/pale malt base with light floral undertones from the hops, very faintly musty-socky. Crisp, clean, refreshing, just about perfect for a quick summer beer, and the view from this Stange is pretty authentic (with obvious differences from PNW hops).
