COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Narwhal Imperial Stout is the latest beer in Sierra Nevada’s High Altitude Series. This malt-forward monster is bold – with notes of baker’s cocoa, molasses, and dark roasted coffee. This massive imperial stout is incredibly complex, rich, and intense and will develop in the bottle for years to come.

Appearance: Pitch black color with a big beige head. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate and coffee.
Palate: Medium to full body. Tad sweet, and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Chocolate, roasted malt and coffee.
Overall impression: Well balanced and lovely imperial stout.

Bottle (355 ml) from Systembolaget. Blach with creamy beige head. Roasted coffee and chocolate aroma, some nutty notes. Full bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness. A subtle and well executed impstout.

Bottle to snifter. Overt molasses, brown sugar and high alcohol with a sweet cocoa background. Slight wheat as it warms. Opaque with brown highlights and deep brown head. Taste is rich chocolate with sweet malt finish. Slight alcohol warmth.
