Definitely hoppy on the aroma. VERY hoppy in the taste to start, roasted coffee and malt in the aftertaste. Alcohol well hidden, but there is something that tells me this is a strong beer. I think it's the strong, strong aroma of hops. Also the strong hoppy taste, which is actually sensational. Baker's cocoa lastingly present; feels like I've had a spoon of cocoa on my tongue. Smooth beer. Not too much carbonation. Thin dark tan head that has disappeared quickly. Minimal lacing. Went super with a thick, creamy Belgian chocolate mousse. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,355 l bottle, Csakajósör, Budapest.
Poured black as rock oil, fine creamy beige-light brown head. Aroma of a ton of roasted barley, ash and burnt wood, molasses and caramel, fruity hops. Oily, rich body with a huge ammount of burnt character, ash and liquerice, tobacco and molasses, dark chocolate. Wow, this is really good;-)

Roasty toasty, very dark nose with bitter caramel and cocoa notes. Pours black like coal tar. Flavour is intensely dark with notes of 85% cocoa chocolate, coffee, licorice and a touch of salt. It develops more fruit as you accustom to it with liquored figs, raisings and fermenting plums. Finish is rich, deep and complex with chewy dark malts and good balance. The alcohol never leads as this is always driven by that just-to-the-edge toasted malt. Very, very nice indeed.
