Grabbed a 4-pack of this when it first came out. Saved the final bottle for a review. 12oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a jet black. No light penetrates this one. Small tan head. Nose is rich with booze, chocolate, roasted coffee, grape, vanilla. Hints of woodsy aromas on the finish. Body is decadent and full. Rich velvety feel with a touch of carbonation on the back end. A nice malty backbone, with vanilla, chocolate syrup, a little booze, black licorice, dark fruits. This one was rich and tasty. The alcohol snuck up on me at the tail end, but this one was one I enjoyed through and through. I hope to see this around often, as I would like to have stock of this one at all times.

Bottle @ home from trade with jarvit... Thanks my friend... I am looking forward to taste the fine brew! It pours clear black with a small tan head... The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, molasses and vanilla... The flavor is roasted malt, coffee beans, yeast, vanilla..... I would like to have this again when it has matured for some years.... but nice young as well :)

Pours a solid black - no light coming through at all - with a fluffy tan head. I get some black coffee, cocoa nibs, plums and pine resin on the nose. The taste is dominated at first by a quite aggressive hop bitterness and characteristic pine flavour, that gives way to flavours of coffee, dark chocolate and burnt toast. Medium to heavy palate with a long lingering finish. This is surprisingly well balanced - an excellent Imperial stout.

Poured a black body with a nice brown head that had some retention and a bit of lace. Aroma had nice roasted coffee and chocolate malts upfront a nice kick of saddle leather to it. Flavor had great balance with nice roasted malts. A nice strong roasted coffee presence upfront. Great balance from the chocolate malts which were sweet enough to complement the bitterness of the coffee malts. Alcohol seemed well hidden, could note detect molasses. Still a good beer.

Bottle. Black with thin tan head. Faint chocolate aroma and a little fruity alcohol. Taste of coffee, chocolate, molasses, licorice and some alcohol. Quite smooth and well balanced but I was expecting something a bit more robust.

12 oz bottle kindly given to me by Indra. 2285210:50 printed on the bottle. Bottled on 2012, 285th day (October 11th). The pour is an inky black, with a one inch dark khaki head. The aroma is roast malt, touch of ash char, and dry dark cocoa and cane sugar sweetness behind that. The taste is big roast initially, opens up to soy iodine, then progresses to the sweetness of the cocoa and cane sugar. The finish is a bit sharp, and presents hot booziness. The palate is heavy to medium bodied, oily mouth feel, and the hot dry finish. Solid Imperial Stout, thanks for giving me this one Eric.
