This massive imperial stout is incredibly complex, rich, and intense and will develop in the bottle for years to come.

Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Pours black, with nice brown head that dissapates quickly. Has some roasted/hoppy aromas. Has a bit of a dry taste.

From untappd backlog: Incredibly nice imperial stout, right off the bat. Tons of dusty oak, chocolate, caramel and dark fruits. Flavor is delicious, vanilla, dark roasty malt, coffee and chocolate. Decadent and delicious.

A very solid Imperial with heavy chocolate, caramel and coffee roast. Does not taste at all boozey at 10.2. It’s a top 10 Imperial for me. A great beer with all the complexity you can go after and the right amount of kick.

Bottle with Brian. Great beer for a cold winter evening. Dark with a opaque head. Coffee undertones. Not overly boozy. Will get again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma - roasted barley malts, with espresso, licorice, honey like booze, and resin hops. Appearance - black body, with a 1/4" beige head that rings out. Taste - have a fair amount of roast - with a bit of astringency, some licorice, espresso, richest of dark chocolate - even a bit of honey or caramelized sugars. Palate - is medium, the texture, slick and sticky, the carbonation is soft, the finish astringent from the rich roast. It is long and strong. Beasty of a beverage. Kudos Sierra Nevada!
