Pours near black with a nice foamy tan head. Aromas of licorice, ink, black coffee, graham sweetness. Acidic coffee, molasses, baking chocolate in the flavor. I don’t say this often about breed but this needs some sweetness to round out the overly acidic character.

Very dark and complex. A lot of notes of roasty coffee bean with a hint of bitter sweet and strong after taste on the palate.

Pours a deep midnight black color with a strong cocoa and coffee aroma. Taste is rich and mature. A good Imperial Stout flavor which leaves a very complex flavor on the tongue. Heavy dark coffee and roasted flavor throughout.

Bottle. Pours black with a decent tan head. The aroma is nice and roasty, with some wood, stone fruit, coffee and chocolate. The flavor is sweet and round, with lots of chocolate and roasted malt. Very nicely balanced, very full-bodied imperial stout.

Nice beer on a Monday. Not so exaggerated aroma but the taste is powerful and rich. Lite as a fierce imperial stout should be. Long and good taste. A pleasure to drink this.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with little off-white head. Boozey on the nose. Big hit of sweet coffee and booze upfront with an almost charcoal finish. Full, thick body. Dark, strong and sweet - but never overdone. Drank with a musical backdrop of analog industrial techno, which somehow feels befitting.

Standard imperial porter. Black woth tan head. Lots of chocolate on the nose. Seet and bitter. Very nice beer.

Pours a dark molasses producing a great thick coco colored head and good retention. Aromas - bready/yeasy/hop/burnt grain. There’s come other notes of chocolate, caramel, and light toffee. Flavors - strong smoke/pine hop/coffee/dark chocolate. More on the subtle side of wood and roasted grains (as they come through more burnt. Highly bitter, high smoke flavors, strong burnt/bitter aftertaste, slightly cloying, and just a hint of alcohol. Overall a top rate Imperial Stout that leaves a sting of aftertaste flavors on the palate to let you know they put quantity and quality ingredients in this beer.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malts, and sweetness. Flavor has roasted malts, some dark chocolate, with some mild bitterness. The Alcohol is masked well and makes this an easy to drink Imperial Stout.
