Bottle 12fl.oz.

Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, coffee, alcohol, dark dried fruit, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, dark roasted, roasted, plums, alcohol, molasses. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130216]

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, alcohol, and light notes of exotic fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of dark chocolate, cocoa beans, alcohol, roasted malt, citrus fruits, hops, and hints of coffee, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a fully gone head. Aroma is toasted malty and chocolate. Dark malty, alcohol and sweet. Liqourice and chocolate. Dry and hardroasted malty finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an opaque black with a smallish beige head. Intense aroma of dark dried fruit and vanillaish roast. Rich body, quite some thick sweet licorice and plummy fruit. Warming alcohol finish. 160213

Bottle Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival. Pitch black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel ad dried fruits with notes of dark chocolate. Sweet and roasted flavour of dark chocolate with notes of alcohol and hops. Roasted finish.

Bottle @ The 4th Annual Fastelavns-Smagning Ulfborg, 2013. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Roast, chocolate and mild honey. Sweet and vinous. Charcoal notes. Long finish

Pitch black color with generous, frothy brownish head. Intense aroma of roasted malt, with some firewood, lactose and light liquorice. Full bodied; the mouthfeel is a bit oily, but smooth; very good flavor of roasted malt, with some dark chocolate, roasted nuts, light Bitter digestive, and a bit too much liquorice; some leather too; it has a very strong bitterness, that hides the fair sweetness; the final is also a bit salty, providing alcohol warmth as well.
Bold and arrogant; well brewed, solid, but without nuances.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, bitter chocolate, coffee, licorice, hops and is full bodied.
