Cask at GBBF, 2014. Light hazy gold pour with a white head. Floral hop aromas, splash of caramel and citrus in there too. Citrus and herb flavour. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled @ GBBF. Slightly unclear yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly bitter, lightly fruity. Decent session IPA, but not as good as I had expected.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle, 4-way IPA Variety Pack. Very floral nose. Pale orange color, huge lace. Very thin flavor. Tastes of floral hops, a bit medicinal, hints of skunky bitterness. Pale, very refreshing. Nice and poundable. I don’t understand why there is a new style, but this one is nice. (4154)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at Winking Lizard. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is crisp and mildly bitter with a lingering herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A clear golden body with a white head that had nice retention. Citrus hops and floral hops upfront. Malts seemed generically sweet. Flavor was mostly grapefruit hops, some mild pine hops balanced it out. Some sweetness through out. Moderately dry finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bought the IPA mix pack. This was a bit of a surprise. I had something similar from Lagunitas a long time ago. Was supposed to be a morning beer or whatever. I remember that one tasting pretty bad.. really watery and really spicy. I think this one is balanced much better. light body? yeah, but not light in the way you would expect a 4.5 beer. Smells ok. Looks as expected. Tastes nicely balanced, and I’m surprised. did i already say that? Nice work! Blindfold next...
