Nooner IPA is light in body but big in hop aroma and flavor. This session IPA delivers a dose of citrusy and grapefruit hop character from the use of whole-cone American hops.

There is no better way to start a lazy afternoon than with a group of friends and a few beers. Nooner IPA is a session beer thatís light in body yet big in hop flavor. By using intense, whole-cone American hops in our Hop Torpedo we pack this small beer with a hefty hop punch.

Poured a lovely thick off-white foamy textured head with plenty of lace. Color is a clear amber with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is dominated by hops but with a hint of skunk. Great hoppy flavor. Good mouth perhaps a tad thin. Very good beer overall and I wish I had another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nooner IPA is a honey golden beer hazy beer with a fine head of small white bubbles. Nose is of pine hops and a decent amount of malts. Taste is crisp and light with a good amount of pine bitters. Body is lively. Pretty much a light IPA. An all around solid, drinkable beer.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a clear golden color. The head is three fingers high, eggshell in shade, and very sudsy in texture. Retention is pretty good, too. As the head fades, some minor patches of lacing are left behind. S: It smells much like Iíd expect a hoppy ale from SN to smell like - that is to say, itís loaded with floral, piny hops - but there also seems to be an increased hint of lemongrass compared to others. Malts are faint. Apart from a touch of soap, the aroma is very good in general. T: Itís bitter right from the start, with a strong lemongrass flavor. There are a faint touch of crackery malts to finish it off, and MAYBE a dusting of grapefruit as well. All in all, very simplistic, even for a 4.8% beer. M: This beer is really light - duh - and dry. Since the bitterness is front-loaded on the palate, it doesnít have a particularly harsh finish. In fact, itís kind of creamy. Itís not the most effortless drinker, but it feels good in the mouth. O: Not bad. Having said that, itís rather bland. A truly great session IPA/hoppy blonde can mask its low strength quite well - the only thing this does to betray that is the creamy mouthfeel. Worth a try, but I wouldnít buy six packs of the stuff.

From memory, I really enjoyed this, bottle pour to pint glass. Bright citrus and grassiness. Iíd like a lot of session IPAs to end up like this. It was definitely drinkable. Not too bitter, definitely well done.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is peach and slight grapefruity. Peachy, citrusy and crisp hoppy to lingering fruit finish.

Bottle at home from McHughs Dublin
hazy pale amber with nettley dank hops and sherbet. Moderate body and carbonation pithy bitterness dry and herbal, could be past its best or just not designed to be hop forward.

Sample at ÷rebro ÷l & Whisky 2014. Smell of leather, hops and meat brooth. The taste is better with some light hops but no meat brooth. Easy to drink.

Draft. Very grassy. Light lemon. A touch of malt sweetness. Pretty decent but would like a more aggressive hop profile.
