Nooner IPA is light in body but big in hop aroma and flavor. This session IPA delivers a dose of citrusy and grapefruit hop character from the use of whole-cone American hops. There is no better way to start a lazy afternoon than with a group of friends and a few beers. Nooner IPA is a session beer thatís light in body yet big in hop flavor. By using intense, whole-cone American hops in our Hop Torpedo we pack this small beer with a hefty hop punch.

Poured into shaker a deep gold with lumpy white head and good lace. Slightly hazy. Aroma is malty but there is the light pine hops in the background. Light bodied and clean. Taste is malts, cereal, hay the pine of the hops growing in the finish with some bitter. I thought it had more flavors than some other session beers, lest lemon like and more malty.

Nose is grass and pale. Deep yellow pour with fast dissipating head. Taste is grassy and slightly fruity. Mild bitterness on finish. Bleh.

"Not sure what these dwarf hops are that they used in this brew, but I admit that I expected more. Thin feel is ok if the flavor and aroma are anything but...but while the aroma and flavor were pleasing enough, everything came across as a little weak. Grassy hops and little citrus or anything else besides a light biscuit malt. It is a session beer as described, but hefty hop punch? Not so much. Iíll enjoy my other 2 from the mixer and then be done with this. Surprisingly, there are FAR better session IPAs out there

12oz bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Pine, citrus, tropical fruit. Pretty good session IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours amber with a large white head. Nose shows spicy and herbal hops in abundance. Some floral and grassy note too. A hint of straw underneath is the only sign of malt. Similar flavours: floral, spicy and grassy hops leap out with some light clean malt revealed later followed by a very refreshing bitter finish. Carbonation is too aggressive.

Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a pale golden colour, with no head. Aroma or hay, sherbet and freshly cut grass. Fresh hop flavours, with tropical fruits and melon. Finish was brown sugar, hay and straw.

Very unique in its aroma and I appreciate that i donít have to struggle but the smell is not so good. Dove soap. Pepperoni pizza. Puke. Yes... Definately smells like puke. Looks fine. Nice white head. Lighter golden color Taste is alright. Light. Watery. A little bit of that throw up and soap taste comes through. Palate is fine. Too light and carbonated although I guess itís a session. Overall better than stones session but still founders is on top for me.

GBBF 2014 on 13-Aug. Cask. Golden amber but with no head at all. Flat tasting beer, with little complexity. Light malts and hops. Not too impressive, seemed not to have travelled well.

Bottle: Having this nooner at midnight. Hope this is allowed. Cloudy but clear gold with a all off white head. Light citrusy aroma. The flavor is citrusy hops but not grapefruit or juniper. There is even a little skunk in it as well. Seems just a bit hoppier than the pale ale. Would I drink this again? Yes. Will I soon? Probably not.

[Bottle {12oz)] Pours a deep gold with a large lasting fluffy off-white head. Some lacing. Citrusy, fruity, floral hop aroma with some grain and biscuity malt in the background. Flavour of floral hops and biscuity malt, citrus and a bit of spice. Moderate bitter finish. Average bodied. A gateway IPA, just good.

Well its a good try but Iím not sure if I can endorse it fully. Nice golden color, large fluffy head, strong piney hop nose. Flavor similar, big chewy hop cone, resiny, thick piney, resiny, chewy resiny, grassy, and resiny. Light bready malts provide just a hint of background, fairly bitter finish but overall the chewy green resiny hop flavors overwhelm here. Hop juice.
