Nooner IPA is light in body but big in hop aroma and flavor. This session IPA delivers a dose of citrusy and grapefruit hop character from the use of whole-cone American hops. There is no better way to start a lazy afternoon than with a group of friends and a few beers. Nooner IPA is a session beer that’s light in body yet big in hop flavor. By using intense, whole-cone American hops in our Hop Torpedo we pack this small beer with a hefty hop punch.

very citrus and missing the hops in this IPA from Sierra Nevada. I think nooner fits this one best because after you’ve had this one around noon.... your going to want a real hoppy IPA by one. try it and see.

Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2014. Smell of leather, hops and meat brooth. The taste is better with some light hops but no meat brooth. Easy to drink.

Draft. Very grassy. Light lemon. A touch of malt sweetness. Pretty decent but would like a more aggressive hop profile.

Light color and nice on a hot day, Still hopped up and classic IPA with some fruit blended in to make a more complex and tasteful result. Great to start at noon.

Aroma is hoppy and grassy with a light grapefruit sensation. It smells a bit aggressive for the style. The taste is medium sweet, light biscuits with a fruity solid maltbase. It is actually a bit too unpolished for my taste when it comes to a session IPA, but overall it’s a decent one.

355ml bottle (at 4,8% vol). Pours a medum gold with a white head. Hoppy, citrusy, quite malty aroma, resin, caramel, apricot. Dry, slightly below medium bodied, mid bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, grassy, malty taste, resin, grapefruit, apricot, caramel. Very drinkable, but maybe a bit too close to the standard Pale in both profile and ABV? (2014-11-09)

Draft at Bearden Beer Market. Gold, with a nice head. Smells...Look, its another session IPA, OK? I like low alcohol, light bodied highly hopped beers, and that’s what this is. They made it, I liked it...

On tap at The Top in Gainesville. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small fluffy white head. Not a huge aroma here but some nicely floral hop aromatics with a hint of hay and light fruits. Flavor is lightly bitter, crisp, with a nice mix of grass, light citrus, and floral notes, and of course some of that characteristic SN flavor in there that I can’t describe. Light bodied with plus carbonation. Nice beer.
