Nooner IPA is light in body but big in hop aroma and flavor. This session IPA delivers a dose of citrusy and grapefruit hop character from the use of whole-cone American hops.

There is no better way to start a lazy afternoon than with a group of friends and a few beers. Nooner IPA is a session beer that’s light in body yet big in hop flavor. By using intense, whole-cone American hops in our Hop Torpedo we pack this small beer with a hefty hop punch.

Pours a slightly hazy peach gold with a 1 finger, creamy off white head. Aroma is citrus, a little pine, herbal notes, light minerality, and a little malt sweetness. Flavor is sweet malt and toast up front, followed closely by some fruity esters, then tangy, bitter, citrusy hops and a little grass, with a grapefruit, mineral, grass and lingering toast and cereal finish. Light body neutral to slightly juicy on entry moderately carbonated, leading to a dry crisp finish. Really good stuff overall, definitely something I could make an evening of.

Draft at Dinosaur with Patty, Kara and Andy. Clear golden pour with lively carbonation and bubbly white head. Aroma is very faint - toasted bread malt and a bit of grassy hop. Taste is hoppier than your average session IPA. Lightly bitter but one-note. Palate is light with soft carbonation.

12oz bottle, multiple times this Summer. Poured a clear orange color with a small white head. Aroma was lots of hops, resin notes, light session-level malt notes, so it’s very hop forward without being too astringent. Flavor was light pils notes, not really pils, but that light crisp notes, with a touch of grass.

Medium gold, thick white head with excellent retention and clingy lace. Active, bubbly carbonation. Signature whole cone Sierra Nevada hoppiness, with a pine-like freshness and touches of citrus. A hint of bready malt in the background. The flavor has a great balance of dry, crackery malt with floral, piney hop resin. It’s like a hoppy German Pils that’s gone over the edge. I love how the mouthfeel still has enough thickness to carry a session brew like this as well. Finishes clean yet amazingly bitter. This is an excellent session IPA. For comparison, I had this right after a Stone Go-To IPA and this one is far and away better. This beer just has a great balance, and is well-crafted all around. It has enough appeal to keep you coming back for more, which is the most essential part of a session brew. Top Notch!

Hazy, bright yellow body with a white head and decent lacing.Pine and grassy hops in the nose, but not very floral or pungent, with a hint of biscuit malt.Light bodied with a very dry mouth feel, prickly from the carbonation.Light malt and a drying bitterness start the palate with a wave of pine and grapefruit.Finishes with a lingering dryness and fading hops.Tasty beer but falls short of the hopping levels for even a "session IPA"

BOTTLE. Hazy orange pour with small fluffy white head.. Citrus bitter hops on the nose.. Solid hoppy bitterness upfront, some biscuit malt in the middle going back to citric bitterness to end.

12FL OZ ($15.99 12pack) pretty good IPA, really expected a high IBU coming from Sierra but its pretty easy going. Very drinkable and has a pretty fluffy head to it that has a good balance with the beer itself.
