COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nooner IPA is light in body but big in hop aroma and flavor. This session IPA delivers a dose of citrusy and grapefruit hop character from the use of whole-cone American hops. There is no better way to start a lazy afternoon than with a group of friends and a few beers. Nooner IPA is a session beer that’s light in body yet big in hop flavor. By using intense, whole-cone American hops in our Hop Torpedo we pack this small beer with a hefty hop punch.

Pours a clear golden color with a decent sized frothy white head. Not much of an aroma to speak of, no hop presence. Good hop profile in the flavor and has a good malt balance. Mouthfeel is a bit watery but overall this was pretty much what I expected: an average IPA.

Bottle. Good session IPA, avoids the excessive pine in many, providing a floral hop, light body, moderate finish.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Lightly hazed golden with moderate off white spotting. Nose is orange pith, straw, toasted malts. Taste comprises light citric tinges, more orange pith, straw, light hop presence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with some juicy hop bitterness. Ok SIPA but pretty middle of the road for the style.

Cask@GBBF 2014, London (13/08/2014) - colour is fuzzy golden, with a white head. Citrus fruity aroma and taste, some mandarin, lemon, citrus peel, good spicy hop on the palate, medium bitter finish. Decent enough.

BOD 5/5/14. Almost clear golden pour with an amber note. Very good head, lacing and retention. The nose is mostly tropical, although there are hints of grapefruit, over a biscuit sweetness. Heavy light body with only a hint of smooth texture. Above normal carbonation with a nice effervescent finish. Very nice balanced flavor profile with a complex mix of hop flavors, moderate bittering and subtle sweetness. It begins with the tropicals, flows to mild grapefruit rind bitterness and a light biscuit sweetness is noted underneath. The finish leaves you with a pleasant rind like bitterness. An outstanding flavorful session IPA.

bottle. Pours a light golden color with generous cream-colored head. Slightly grainy and citrusy aroma. Citrusy and grassy flavor. Light bodied with slightly bitter finish. Quite drinkable. Quaffable on a hot summer day, but not among the best of this style.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Light dry pale malts. Light marmalade hops with a side of hop spice. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Nose is grass and pale. Deep yellow pour with fast dissipating head. Taste is grassy and slightly fruity. Mild bitterness on finish. Bleh.

"Not sure what these dwarf hops are that they used in this brew, but I admit that I expected more. Thin feel is ok if the flavor and aroma are anything but...but while the aroma and flavor were pleasing enough, everything came across as a little weak. Grassy hops and little citrus or anything else besides a light biscuit malt. It is a session beer as described, but hefty hop punch? Not so much. I’ll enjoy my other 2 from the mixer and then be done with this. Surprisingly, there are FAR better session IPAs out there

12oz bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Pine, citrus, tropical fruit. Pretty good session IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours amber with a large white head. Nose shows spicy and herbal hops in abundance. Some floral and grassy note too. A hint of straw underneath is the only sign of malt. Similar flavours: floral, spicy and grassy hops leap out with some light clean malt revealed later followed by a very refreshing bitter finish. Carbonation is too aggressive.
