2.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 1/20
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2008 Had this one at Sean Bolanís(Bel Air).Great hoppy brew that is basically an IPA.Good fresh aggresive hops.Damn smoky bars! This would have been ten times more enjoyable at home.11/28/2008> Picked up a bottle today. LAME! Must have got the only bunk bottle on the face of the earth! Hops are sorta there, mostly malts with some tingle(of hops) Smells off, cause it’s obvious, it is! At least I know why I was pissed today ever since I purchsed this bottle. I just want to add that Seirra is prob my fav brewer overall but...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Najaís. Very floral and hoppy aroma. More like an IPA than an American pale ale. A little bit of malt comes through in the flavor, but it is most defenitely dominated by the hops. A very well done beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Papago. Nice floral, hoppy aroma, pine needles like just after a rain in the forest. Grapefruit notes really come through also. Very crisp clean hop flavor. Some tiny spices notes are thrown in the mix at the end of the palate. Dry and do I detect some malts trying to get through to the aftertaste? Yes, mmmmm....thank God itís harvest time.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at San Diego Brewing Co. Very Green and floral. Piney and grapefruity. Much more hoppy than most APAís. Aromas and flavors were high gear hop machines. Very tasty stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Falling Rock poured a clear copper with an amber head. Aroma was grassy with notes of pine and citrus. Palate was medium bodied, dry and resiny. Flavor was earthy, with notes of carmel and hay and a warming bitter finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft, Old Chicago Eden Prairie. Poured a nice reddish brown with a smallish off-white head that mostly diminished. Picked up notes of citrus and some caramel. Taste had that refreshing grapefruit hop tingle balanced by a bit of malt. This was a surprise beer and I did not expect that much of it after several other brews in front of it that did not measure up. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. I hope to see this beer around yearly.
