4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
22oz. Very excited to find this at the local store. Did not disappoint. Darker in color than expected. Imagine their 20th Celebration Ale with more hops and you get this ale. If I were stranded on a desert island and I had 100 cases of this ale with me I would be a hoppy man! Extremely quaffable and satifying!

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great beer. I could enjoy this one a regular basis. The 24 oz. bottle was a plus as well. Pretty cheap at 3.50 for that size!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light ruby color, lasting white head with fine bubbles. Pretty beer. Earthy aroma with pine, cinnamon, citrus. Fairly tasty, just a hint of grassiness. Smooth finish. Good stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
24 Oz 2007 Bottle. Musky, pungent aroma, dank with cold lemongrass soup, spiced tea, and waxy hop resins. Subdued and wet. Pours a clear, standard amber, rimmed with rocky and separating maple foam. Flavor rushes into a much more delicate and explosive flavor profile. Rich grasses, sweet pines, and fragrant, burgeoning citrus rinds, and candied flower heads. Sweet, sticky, and round. Light peppery bouquet. Malt works in nicely, with some toothy Munich caramels, lightly toasted seeds, and washing, warm bready sugars. Clean, with bits of mineral residue. Back end holds a more bitter tendency, but bright with Meyer lemon reduction, candied lavender and a brief interlude of higher, soapy alcohols. Sprightly, fresh and balanced. Aroma weighed down from the wet hops, I’m imagining, but the flavor expectedly delightful. Maybe a nip thin for an IPA, but yet so drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2007 Bottle. Aroma was very potent. Nice floral smell and a scent of must. The flavor was strong and very up front. The hops were really all over the place and at times seemed like a hop mess. It is an intresting beer and though it may have some flaws I did enjoy it.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Is pretty tasty... bitter, but not over the top. Good to see Sierra taking some pride in the process again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2007 version. Pours a clear amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is loaded with citrus and pine hops with a decent backround of caramel malts. Pretty strong bittering hop flavor with the citrur and pine hops and caramel malts. Pretty bitter finish with a lingering flavor. This is a pretty good brew if you like bittering hops.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2007 2007 bottle. Dark gold/amber body, medium dense eggshell head with good retention, piney/spicy nose. Starts dry, with leafy resiny spicy hops and slight breadiness, sweetens slightly as it warms, very bitter finish.
