4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
24oz. bottle poured into my ipa glass. Pours a dark copper color with a thick and fluffy light tan head that awesome lacing. smells of pine, grapefruit, resin, and caramel. Tastes of all the same things in the smell with a good hop presence in the back end. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with great carbonation. Great fresh hop ipa, I think its almost as good as the southern hemisphere but its been a few years since I had it. Great balance and use of hops. I need to go to a fresh hop tasting next year to compare a bunch side by side, but from the ones Iíve had in the past this is pretty solid

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy amber-bronze with a fluffy off-white head that settles to a ring and leaves some hanging, ornate lace. Nose involves spicy hops, brown sugar, pine resin, lighter grapefruit and orange, dusty and fruity esters, a light funkiness, some toasted malt. Fairly sweet, quite bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily, softer side of active, with a lingering piney bitter finish. Yeah, itís pretty damn good. Nice balance, nice showcase of the wet hops, nice price. I feel like I remember the Southern Hemisphere being a tad better for some reason, but you canít go wrong either way.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Reddish brown with huge fluffy white head with great retention. This is one the best looking Sierra Nevada beers. Not overwhelming, but great subtle aromas of fresh hops. Pine, earthy forest and floral nuances are most present. There is an initial hit of bitterness on the tongue with the earthy pine and floral notes coming forth. Good malt backbone to support but not overshadow the hops. Drinks very well. Great IPA, a pleasure to drink.

I like it, but prefer Southern Hemisphere. Just prefer that one. This one has less flavor.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours nice golden/amberish color with creamy head. Good lacing. Good hops presence up front and across the entire palate and stay there for a while. Some citruis and a touch of sweetness in the first part. Leaves you wanting another drink. I could see it being a great late summer beer if not all year round. Enjoying it!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Strong pine and hop. As is proper for Canada. ....I. mean, Sierra Nevada Brewery.(south park reference) Darker golden amber in color with frothy white head. Tastes a lot like it smells with a bit more malt. Incredible.worth it.

This golden amber beer has a nice floral aroma. It has a strong hop flavor which isn't overpowering. A well put together beer.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
soft grassy, herbal, and light citric hop flavors balanced by a caramel-y, bready malt backbone. Highlights the wet hops well and has a pretty complex malty undertones. Great stuff
